10 years old mod, I`ve been using it since it was released, and it holds up up to this day. Solitude is supposed to be a rich, clean and colorful capital, and this mod delivers that.

Honestly, same! The entire sexy series has been in my main modlist since day 1, and I remember eagerly awaiting the next parts way back when.

Love this mod but I wish it were in 2K. If anyone knows of a good AI upscaling program/website let me know.

It's just textures, so you should be able to just plop them into the data folder

I've been trying to make my Skyrim cleaner and more colorful like a (J/A)RPG and this is it. It makes things clean and colorful without sacrificing quality. There is actual *texture* to the textures so it's not too jarring or unimmersive. I would like to see more texture replacers like this but it looks like horrorview has been inactive for a while. Can only hope there are other talented modders with similar tastes.

It should be immersive. Problem is Skyrim were originally extremely desaturated to the point that it looks almost monochrome at times. Even Oblivion can be bright and shiny. It's sad to see how horroview retired. There should be others like Noble Skyrim, but it has its own problems.

I have been modding skyrim for almost 3 years and I can't believe I missed this mod. These simple textures do justice to Solitude. Combine this mod with "Complete Solitude" and you get the game that skyrim should have been. Kudos!

      +1

I ended up only using the roof textures and a couple other since they are low rez.

Despite having found replacements for almost everything the Sexy Series does over the years, I still use Solitude. It has the best look in terms of color, design and appearance, especially the interior textures. BUT, its 1k textures, are pretty bad, appearance wise. It's not their design, but the resolution that is lacking. The chances of getting this rebuilt in 2, or 4k are likely nill sadly.

I still use Sexy Riften and Solitude.(In SSE). Again for their esthetics. There are better quality retextures aplenty now, but none that are well designed as Sexy Solitude. I could likely find a better Riften out there if I tried a little harder, but a better solitude? Still elusive.

There is mod that adds aprallax effect to these textures:
      https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/17275

Other than that, we would need to find someone who could upscale the textures with AI, or something.
