For those who want excellent portable crafting kits, consider Skyrealism's portable crafting kits since this mod appears to be crusty - http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/21866/?
well, this is a little more convenient, thanks, it's still not as good as power workstation, but that mod was taken down by the mod author for some unknown reason, it's still my favorite mod of all time as it was the quickest to use, but this link you provided is close enough, so thanks for posting this.
i have a copy of workstation on my SSE, but i don't know how to backport it to LE, so i suppose i will have to use other mods, unless someone knows how to back port mods, i will gladly give it to someone if they can make a back port of it.
yes you read this right, i'm coming from SE back to LE, let's just say i'm fed up with Bethesda screwing with the game and i just want to play skyrim without all the nonsense.
there was a modder back in the day who created a very simple method of making crafting portable and their mod was simply called power workstation, the modder who made that mod took it down for some unknown reason and i really liked using that mod.
all it was is just a power that was given to the player that you would select in your powers menu and it would pop up a menu that would allow you to choose from a selection of crafting stations all in that one power, it had everything from enchanting, smiting, alchemy, cooking, smelting, that you could choose from and us at you whims, it was very simple and quick to use any time the player wanted to use it.
it would play no animations and just send the player to the crafting menu to craft or enchant the items you wanted, i wish that mod would come back because it was soo convenient and easy to use, i still have a copy of that mod for my SE version of skyrim, but i don't know how to convert it back to LE, but i really want to use that mod, this mod is as close as i can tell to how that mod worked, i guess this one is slightly more lore friendly though, but i just miss the convenience and just how it easy it was to abstain.
the modder kind of made it easy to get, you could either purchase it from belethor for 3 grand gold, or you could steal it from him as it was upstairs on a table in the form of a book that would work like any spell book the moment you read it, it would disappear from your inventory and show up as a power lol, stealing was easier than coughing up that much change.
This Mod is currently non functional with the latest Skyrim update and looks to have been abandoned by the creator. I wouldn't bother wasting your time with it.
Hello y'all I was just wandering why there where no images in your mod, and i found that you reference objects to non existing NIF's, and what's more interesting, who the hell is Viz, and where can i find him since i wanted to ask him for some NIF and DD files you missed to package
I'm also experiencing issues with the new version of this mod. I tried installing the 1.2 version (which has different recipes requiring soul gems) and they seem to work there. I click on a portable device and while nothing seems to happen, once I close the menu, a crafting menu opens up. With 1.3, nothing happens on closing the menu.
I did some more tests and have confirmed this is the case for me at least. If you're having trouble with 1.3, just install 1.2 and you can use the console to give yourself the soul gems needed to graft the items with the old recipes.
I Have been Inactive in the scene for awhile now I wanted to update and improve upon this mod and make it as stable and current as possible I might be reworking this mod in the near future!

But the mod doesn't work with the current version of Skyrim and it seems the mod author has left the building already, which is a pity.
and they dont work for me anyway. D:
