as a non-fast travelling gamer I prefer multuiple houses like these than one or two massive mansions. My biggest complaint with all the big houses is that they all seem to be clumped in the middle, especially between riverwood and whiterun - I really wanted houses like thesse in key travelling positions.
The karth river bank and karthwasten itself is somewhat neglected by modders - this simple mod solves so many problems and gives me a nice and easy resting area for when I make those long treks to solitude!
