About this mod
This is my attempt to bring the Camonna Tong of TES3:Morrowind to TES5:Skyrim. This mod adds a joinable faction and a small questline with around half a dozen new quests, the last two of which are repeating radiant quests. This mod requires the Dragonborn DLC but shouldn't require anything else.

The Camonna Tong are way nastier than the Thieves Guild so expect their quests to be quite amoral (drug trafficking, slavery, etc).
Notes:
To find the Camonna Tong, go to the Retching Netch in Solstheim. Although they aren't friendly with the Thieves Guild, they will still let you join if you are part of the Thieves Guild.
Only Dunmer can join, as the Camonna Tong are racists and Dunmer elitists, as per how they were depicted in TES3:Morrowind and TES Lore generally. They'll be way ruder to non-Dunmer and won't let you join.
One of the quests can be quite trial and error if you aren't on the same page as me, so to remove some tedium of potentially talking to half of the NPCs in the game, I included a "cheat sheet" that tells you who to talk to in the Main .zip file. Use it if you're really stuck.
Additional Credits:
Thanks to BowmoreLover for the "Lazy Voice Finder", it's so useful for finding voice clips.
And thanks to DanRuta for the "xVASynth v3 - SKVA Synth" for my optional AI voices.
Installation:
I have two .zip files; one called "Main", which contains the files you need for the mod, and an optional one called "VASynth". Both of my .zip files contain a Data
folder, the contents of which should be dropped into the Data folder of your game's installition directory.
Uninstallation:
Just manually delete the files from my .zip(s). Specifically, that means the:
- \Data\JoinTheCamonnaTong.esp
- \Data\seq\JoinTheCamonnaTong.seq
- \Data\Sound\Voice\JoinTheCamonnaTong.esp (this is a directory, not a file, just delete the whole thing; it also contains the AI voice files if you download that too)
- \Data\Scripts\... (there's not an easy way to identify every script I added/changed, but 95% of my scripts are prefixed with CT, so just that might help)
Known Bugs:
I can't talk about bugs without SPOILERS so if you don't want spoilers then don't read below this point.
These are bugs that I am aware of but am unable to fix, which are as follows:
- Trying to sell drugs to the wrong people during "Getting 'em Hooked" will give you a bounty. However, I couldn't figure out any way to make the guards seek you out at that point, so although you'll have a bounty, you'll need to talk to a guard for it to have the negative effect I intended (via the "Wait, I know you..." dialogue). My intention was that the guards should seek you out and try to arrest you, but nothing I tried would result in this, so I just had to settle for a "silent bounty".
- The captured slaves will not have their hands bound very consistently. Making them sprint will make them "break free of their bonds", but hopefully they should assume the position of bound hands again before long. That's the best I could do, since the bound hands thing is just an idle pose, not a "state", so all I can do is keep setting them to use that idle pose. They'll still follow you and everything as I intended, it's just a bit immesion-breaking.
- Brawls, I know they're infamous for being rather broken even in the base game, but in particular with the brawls my mod adds I've noticed that the Brawls Won statistic doesn't increase, although you can at least remedy this yourself with the console command: ModPCMiscStat "Brawls Won" 1
