With it having been 3 years since I made this I don't remember enough about it to provide any support if you run into problems, feel free to fix them and re-upload to the nexus. With this "paid mod" business on Steam I want to make sure everyone knows I AM NOT putting this up for sale on Steam. So if you see this mod there report it and send me a message on here. If you're interested in what I'm doing now, check out my youtube channel www.youtube.com/misterpingy

Yeah, well you might not be reading the comments anymore but I'm gonna comment anyway!

Thanks for this, it sounds about the right level, I'm not the marrying kind (I already have wife and kids in real life) and I usually clobber followers too much to have Mjoll or anyone else as a follower, but jeeeeeezzzzz. Aerin take a step back dude and stop lookin at her butt.
so yeah, I hope this fixes his 'milkiness'

There seem to be a lot of people here who don't understand the idea that some people might want to try and keep some level of internal game world/story/RP consistency. Certainly this mod is not "needed" in order to remove Aerin as a nuisance, but he is only annoying if you spend time with Mjoll. And if you spend time with Mjoll, you know that she is fond of Aerin and that he saved her life. Even if one could get away with it, what kind of sociopath murders someone's treasured friend just because they find them annoying, or so they can monopolize their time?

The only problem here is that Bethesda did a crappy job designing Aerin's behavior, and didn't even give us a simple recourse like, I don't know, maybe being able to ask Aerin not to tag along everywhere. This fixes that. So now you get to do whatever you like with Mjoll, her good friend stays alive and behaves reasonably, and you don't have to behave like a cold-blooded sociopath or resort to stuff like console manipulation. Wins all around. I find this mod indispensable.

You can kill anyone in the game that is not essential. Just be hidden when you do it. one shot-one kill. high powered bow works best. Will fold up Aerin like a lawn chair! And it doesn't break your game like when you use command console to disable a npc. works real good on Terek also for those of you who use RDO. heehee

I like it, but after running TESEDIT there are a lot of error´s?
In my previous games, i *markfordelete* and *disable* him, this is much better i guess :-)

Yes, he will keep following his AI routine in Riften and not go to Sky Haven Temple.

Will it also stops Aerin from hanging around the Sky Haven Temple if Mjoll gets recruited into the Blades?

    @ GlassDeviant

I've never used NMM so I'm not familiar with how it works. I double checked and there's only 2 files in the folder, the readme and the .esp. It could be something with data in the .esp file, but I used Skyrim NPC editor and it should have only changed Aerin's character so I don't know how it would conflict. You could install the mod manually and have it load first so that whatever mods you have that conflict override the conflicting values in the file. Sorry I can't come up with anything else.
