This mod is sort of usefull still, in the sense that it provides different receipes for crafting arrows. If however you are using this with newer, more expanded mods, you will run into problems as it balances arrows damage /prices differently from the more recent popular mods. like WAF or ABT.
It also has a problematic header, with a non NULL FormID, so ti cannot be edited inTES5edit , unless you change that value from 01 to 00 in a hex editor.
To do that open the esp file in a hex editor and change the last value in the first line from 01 to 00. After that you can edit it with TES5edit
I'm posting this in case someone wants to still use this mod and wants to tinker with it.
I found it extremely funny that 5 years later I'm playing Skyrim again, havin resurected my heavily modded game of 2014, and while researching all mods in my setup I recalled having read something about this mod.
Guess what I had Written the damn thing above, and had totaly forgotten about it :p
I seem to recall Gopher (in an udpate to his review of this mod) saying that this is no longer needed due to a recent update from Bethesda that accomplishes the same thing. I know Dawnguard added arrow crafting, but essentially I am thinking that Dawnguard accomplishes all the same things that this mod does.
Am I wrong? What does this mod offer that is not already provided by having all of the official DLCs?
Ok this mode sounded good, but the lack of the type of meterials to make the bundle of fletching makes this mod suck, since i can get more arrows and faster from shops then i can harvest from mobs, find in random places or buy from alchemy shops, so its a shame but it´s not pratical...
I agree, it's said that some mods limit them self to the limitations of the Steam Workshop. It's a nice way to introduce players to modding, but It should not be an exclusive platform.
