"...Among lost artifacts in this world, this blade and shield are probably one of the oldest, bestowed not by aedra or daedra, but forged by hands of greater men and blessed by the twin primordial dragons, made of bronze, gold and ivory, the artifacts recieved a small fraction of the wyrms souls, etching its qualities to the blade and shield, making it sturdier than any know material in existance.
Old and almost unkown tales tell that the artifacts were made for one of the founders of a now long lost kingdom, an individual which was very fond of the twin dragons and carried their message and knowledge with passion and fiereness when needed.
Eons went by and are now no tales to be told about the twin dragons or the person that held the legendary artifacts, the only fact know by some stories here and there, is that the blade and shield passed among warrior from warrior throughout generations until it was buried along its last owner somewhere in Skyrim, near one of the ancient word walls..."
The sword and shield carries a small fraction of the wyrms souls, bestowing the user some of its physical qualities.
Each of the artifacts give you:
+5 Carry Weight
+5% Stamina Regen
+5% Fire Resistance
So having both equipped will give you a total of 10%.
Both of them can be enchanted and tempered.
Stats of both equipments is a bit higher than Daedric.
Some hunters and explorers say they have seen a suspicious sarcophagus being revealed in the snow near the word wall at Ancient's Ascent, might be interesting to investigate.
