    Recently, Skyrim Special Edition (64 bits) has been announced by Bethesda.

    I've been done with Skyrim -Community- Uncapper for about soon 3 years.
    So I decided to inform here that I have no plan to update this SKSE plugin for the future 64 bits Special Edition.

    So anyone feel free to take on the job.

    PS: I've updated the source code posted here from 1.15.2.0 to 1.15.2.1 (which was the last version I had stored when I stopped working on this project). The only difference between 1.15.2.0 and 1.15.2.1 I remember, was a minor bug fix on the Autoupdate functionality of the plugin, which is technically useless for players since the last version of the plugin is already updated for the last version of Skyrim.

    Edit2: After having a deeper look to my old files, source code 1.15.2.1 was no better than 1.15.2.0 so i put back the original source code.

      Thank you very much for the uncapper. I can't play without it, as i use it to slow down leveling and to modify carryweight and perks per level. I 'd rather stay with the uncapper than get the "Special edition".

      If you are playing on PC, I don't think installing the Remastered version will do much for you. You already are playing a game that looks as good or better that the Remastered version will be. From what I'm reading, this new version is mainly for console users and allows the game to look better by utilizing the improved capabilities of the latest consoles. It also alters the game engine to the 64 bit version. Not sure what that's going to do in terms of improving the existing PC vsn 1.9x.

      Degasai, you couldn't be more incorrect. The 64 bit engine upgrade alone is worth going to SE especially on PC. No more memory limitations for UHD textures, RAM limitations on gameplay now bottleneck with the OS instead of the game and full use of GPU RAM is now possible for better framerates at higher resolutions with maxed out settings.

      Elys, thank you for the work you've done with this for us. I hope you reconsider tweaking it when SKSE 64 comes out.

      I can personally attest that the load times are way, way down and multiple characters in an area causes nary a frame to be dropped, or at least much less. When you use mods like Immersive Wenches and/or JK's Skyrim in, say, the Bannered Mare, it made my old system chug a bit. It's staying steady as a rock at 60 fps now. SKSE and ENBoost helped a ton for the OSE, no question, but starting anew in SSE is a definite win. I'd say in less than six months the play experience of SSE will surpass the OSE. The big roadblocks are LOOT and SKSE, imho.

      LOOT v10 is now out and works well for SSE.

      Now just the wait for SKSE.

      Hopefully someone converts this over, this was a must have. Its crazy leveling up soo fast in the normal game just from crafting and enchanting a few items.

      I can agree with that it does not look that better. I have 2 12 bit titunam graphic cards. Yes the company saw me coming and I can tell little or no difference.

      Yes, thank you very much Elys. The work you have done on the uncapper has been absolutely perfect for every playthrough I've done. (except for the very first, very vanilla playthrough). I truly hope someone is willing to take over the reigns once SKSE64 comes out. I'd be more than happy to but I don't know the first thing about coding of any kind.

      That's sad news, but I certainly can understand you not wanting to come back to it. This is one of a handful of must have foundational mods for any modded Skyrim game.

      Unfortunately there's a fairly limited pool of people with the skills and/or tools to pick up some of these mods (SkyUI is the other example) for SSE. Hopefully someone will step up to the challenge once the script extender is available.

      ... and +1 on QuentinS ... 64-bit engine is more than worth it.

      Elys, thanks for all your hard work on the Community Uncapper, it was a valuable addition to all my character builds.

      To anybody wanting something very similar to this for Skyrim SE look for uncapper under the Gameplay category.

      I just tested it with SSE with the alpha skse64 and it fine as far as I can see .

      It's not just about the looks my bro, the Skyrim SE game that runs on 64 bit is a far more reliable game, that is prone to far  less crashes as well as over all streamlining certain things that were not as streamlined in the original Skyrim LE 32 bit version, as well as that, you can also now use more of your PC's functionalities, The SE Version of Skyrim can also be modded a lot more due to the DLC's being a naturally integrated part of Skyrim from the start, RIP The Vigilants of Stendarr, part of the game so you don't really need to worry about FPS drops as much and and the DLC'S are a LOT less buggy, it also has a built in mod manager system, so you don't really have to worry about the download cap on the nexus... 

      … As Bethesda.net has no such cap on the download, the graphics look far better so that means that there is far less ESP's needed to make the game look as good as Skyrim LE

      I tried to mod the SE Version but it didnt work for me at all. So i went back to the normal version. Also a lot of mods were unavailable and even with the build in manager (where you need an extra acc, wich is basically the same with Vortex) i needed to keep use Vortex, so thats that...
      If it works for you, congrats.

      Please forgive me for posting this in more than one place. I wanted to be sure it got recorded.

      Please can someone do a version of the uncapper that allows all the skills to go to 199. Mine are almost at 100 now and the only way I can
      go up is to use my legendary powers to knock some of them out, and I really do not want to lose what I have gained. Please, I am sure it is easy to do if you know how but I dont know how and do not want to mess things up by doing it wrong. I think I can get to level 50 if  it will only let me.
      A hard level cap of 50 would be fine.

       Please I must ask again. I am playing Skyrim Legendar yEdition. I got the un capper  to get  two peks points per comeup. soon I will reach the current maxium level you can get with using legacy and I dont want to lose what I earned to continue to rise in levels. could me make me an. in which the caps on the skil  caps go up to 199 nstead of 100. that way I can continue to rise up above the current level cap.. i will try it my self but i really do not know what i am doing. .  I

      I know. Why  do you assume my motives are bad. I did not see my post appear abd because most tings appear immediately I assumed it was not going through, Thats why I kept sending it. I did not assume my motives were were more important than anyone elses. Nor did I take it for granted. I must sat as was surotised that I got a snide statement about How although my motives were more important to ne, etc. I never assumed any such

    Deberia especificarse cuales son los valores que deben cambiarse para ver los efectos en el juego, HAY DEMASIADOS! y no estoy seguro de cual exactamente cambiar para que no haga CTD o algun error en el juego, no entiendo la diferencia entre [SkillExpGainMults] y [PCLevelSkillExpMults].

    Que incomodo tener que estar probando que valor da efecto o no cuando este mod lleva hecho casi desde el 2011 y no se expliquen estas cosa basicas.

    (Y no es de simplemente "que no sabes leer" o "no sabes que es un .ini")

    This mod sets the default carry capacity to 280, I know this mod changes the stats of everything but it'd be nice to have the defaults unchanged. I would try to fix this but I don't want to mod your mod.

      Read the instructions, this is not a simple 'slap it in and play' mod, it's about you deciding the direction of your gameplay, and for you to make the changes to the ini provided... that's what you do, you choose.

    i believe there is a comment about variable 'bSkillFormulaCaps', which is not a variable in the .ini file

      this mod isn't working;
      i want to assign less experience points to training sessions
      so i don't level up after training
      but i can't figure out how to do that
      which configuration options do i need to change to do this
      also
      i installed the mod by the book (instructions)
      is there an easy way to test to see if the changes take

    Looks like a useful mod, I would have loved to use it while crashing the 32-bit version of Skyrim that always was a lost cause, here is hoping someone revives this for AE, a version of Skyrim that actually seems to work well and not crash because of too many butterflies in a cell.

    just wanted to add what i know from testing setav commands ,

    max level you can get for skills is 99999 , it's 5 digits max , It does improves the skill along the way.

    and awsome man! thanks for doing this mod cause i always wanted to be able to get passed 100,
    maybe if possible to get rid of the softcap arround level 50?

    a max level cap arround 250 (i'm hinting towards the ammount of perks you need to fill out your skill trees entirely).

    also for making the game still a bit of fun.. (though I know asking this is alot of work) that dungeons get reset if the level between the first time going there and the current level is to big.
    ex. if you went to a dungeon at level 12 but you are now level 67 it would reset to level 63.
    (I though a +50 level difference would be good to reset it)

    hope this will be expanded more !

      Please retry explaining what it is that you want, don't rush, don't misuse Capital letters and be clear.
      I don't have Skyrim installed on my PC but I have downloaded this file in an attempt to try to help you.

      When you explain what you want I will do my best to direct you as to what needs changing in the ini file provided for this mod.

      You will need SKSE and to make this work and you will have to make changes to the ini file using notepad/Notepad++ (notepad is good enough in this case)
