This armor replaces a lot of body meshes and other armor textures that really shouldn't replace. I had a weird glitch on my character's feet textures as well as some steel and ebony textures changed and whatnot and it was all because of this mod. It's cool and all, but it definitely needs some cleaning up or something.
I don't know if I uploaded or posted it right, but these are all the changes this mod forces onto different textures and paths, including actors for some reason, which is a really weird thing for a simple armor mod to do. All the tabs on the right were set to "Northern Armor Set" upon installing the mod, effectively altering the textures of plenty of other armors, so I had to manage the different conflicts manually (already done in the captures) and reset the correct textures again.
That’s literally just showing the file contents. It’s in loose files format, meaning anything you use that have the same filepaths will conflict. This is pretty standard stuff. Those meshes/textures all use standard filepaths.
I don't know what to tell you, it definitely is the first time vortex shows so many conflicts with a simple armor mod, and the first time an armor mod alters my character's body textures, and I've installed plenty of them. Anyways, I know close to nothing about modding and everything seems to work fine after managing the conflicts, the thing that bugged me was that I had no idea what was messing up my textures until I finally checked this mod as vortex never warned me and just set it as default over my other texture mods. Thanks for replying.
You do realize I brought this over from Enderal, right? I kept it in loose files format so that its easy if you simply need or want to hide files, but...all those files are correct and from the original version from Enderal. I use MO2, its as simple as right clicking and selecting Hide/unhide in the Filetree tab. I know Vortex also has this feature when you go to install a mod, or when a mod shows "conflicts" before/after, etc.
the armor looks really good but it need s like a little bit of fur on the hands and boots and the animal hide oh the shoulders needs to be a little but smaller bec it looks a little bit Guffey on the female character . other then that it s the best armor for a nord character out there
Thank you. Its mostly from Enderal. I had it on my SE page for awhile until I had some free time to backport it here. Tbh, i'm not the best with modeling and textures, so literally just used what Enderal gave us, with a few adjustments.
but it turned out so good tho . like its the only mod for skyrim le right now that actually looks like a nordic armor .[by nordic i mean an actual armor with animal hide on it ] . so i would love to see more of what u can do with this theme . thx for the amazing armor mod
You're very welcome! I'll see what else I can come up with. There are a few more from Enderal that I'd like to get done, and honestly I"m not very good with making my own. Modeling and textures are something I'm slowly learning and I know I'll make mistakes along the way. Just happy to share these and especially backport them since I have a dedicated SE setup and now dedicated full LE setup.
that s amazing to hear . i will be keep up to date with ur page then . and dont worry u will do great just keep at it . sooner or later u will prop be one of the best on the nexus . best of luck . and, merry Christmas :)
I appreciate the kind words, and Merry Christmas to you too. However, there are WAAAY more talented authors than I here and elsewhere. Just happy to share these.
