Apologies for the delay, life has been way too much lately. I intend to fully backport the far superior SE version with all the fixes and additions, as soon as reasonably possible.
Overall a cool concept and I've enjoyed my journey so far. Unfortunately I get nothing but an infinite loading screen after jumping into the Maw so this will be the end for me.
hmm thats a shame it gets good after that :( i wonder? I kinda doubt it's pushing your rig over the limit, as ive got a pretty mid pc myself and even with a lot of mods, it always loads.
Try loading a save in an interior cell with little going on, and putting in ''coc pitsornamentsea'' without the quotes in the console to see if you cant warp directly there - if you feel so inclined.
If it still doesn't load, it's probably just a bit too much memory. I think im gonna mark this down and see if i cant optimize that cell better. Thank you for trying it out eh?
Dang. I'm gonna consider this an issue then, I think i've just got too much going on in there. I went into the cell to see what I could do better and i realize im using 4k floor tile textures all over the place - I'm gonna throw them down to less than half that, partition the cell a bit better with some rooms and occlusion planes, remove some statics where possible, etc. Thanks very much for taking the time to play and report, really <3
UPDATE: ive found a few bugged meshes that were causing this, which have since been updated in the SE version. Will be backporting the completed SE version back here soon.
Yes there was, this is it! I was displeased so i redesigned the entire mod from start to finish :) It's not just an update, it's a completely new and better thing, so i deleted the old one and re released it so it wouldn't get lost in the wind.
If you're mid save and you've had it activated, and you choose to update - it should not break your save functionality. The mod area however will be lacking any changes made to the persistent references that already existed, and may itself be wonky/buggy. I would highly recommend a new save.
Yes! I fully intend on porting this myself or having someone else do it to SE at the very least. I cant say when with christmas in the works but I will make it happen as soon as reasonably possible
