A mod for the Dawngaurd, which adds new chainmail versions of the different colored vanilla Dawnguard armors for a total of 30 new armors. This mod is meant to breath more life into the Dawnguard faction by giving them more armor and weapon choices, guaranteed to boost your immersion 101%.
1) This mods adds a total of 30 new versions of the vanilla armors for both genders. The heavy versions of the Dawnguard boots and gauntlets have been given new chainmail models.
2) Like vanilla Dawnguard armors they are not craft-able, but can be tempered and are added through the Leveled - Lists, and will be discovered interacting with the Dawnguard NPC's. None of the original vanilla Dawnguard armors have been removed from the game, these armors are meant to be in addition to the originals.
4) There is a chance of purchasing an armor set or new weapon from the Dawnguard vendor Gunmar.
5) There are now four new Dawnguard weapons available through the leveled lists as well, the Dawnguard Battleaxe, the Dawnguard Halberd, the Dawnguard Persuader, a one handed hammer and the Dawnguard Trouncer, a devious spiked club all designed by Gunmar!
6) Light Dawnguard armor has two new chainmail types, the first has chainmail only on the sleeves the second has chainmail on both sleeves and skirt for added protection. The chainmail sleeved medium Dawnguard armor with only one pauldron will by treated as light armor, while the version with skirt will be considered heavy armor. Heavy armor will also use the same format, but all versions will be considered heavy.
7) The new armors provide better protection than their original counter parts, but will still fall short of Steel Plate Armor, for game balance purposes.

I can say that most texture mods will be compatible.
I will be working on creating a few patches for my own mods and some of the more popular Dawnguard mods out there.
Feel free to create and publish your own patches for your favorite Dawnguard mods!
The mod has been created to be compatible with my overhaul mod Ardent Adventure out of the box.
