So, since I've been hogging my 500 slot version for ages and since the permissions are open, I have uploaded a SSE version of this mod with 500 slots :) Also, a script has been included (thanks to CyborgArmGun) that gets rid of the previous 10-items per NPC limit :) I hope that it's alright to post this conversion, but the permissions say so :D In case it's not, somebody please let me know.
And thanks to Dudestia for this awesome mod that still works great. If anyone wants a 200 slot version only, this one still works in SSE, as everyone here can confirm :D
If I use "Nether's Follower Framework" to change followers gear, "NPC Clothing Replacer" to change non followers gear (but it only changes gear of group of NPCs, not single NPC), then can I use your mod also to change gear of single NPC? Will this work?
P.S. Im not sure if this is important, but I mean to use your mod in old save file.
Forgive me, quite late to the party. Could someone spare a moment to tell me how to update to 500 slots? I maxed out my 200 slot limit. Do I have to uninstall the 200 slot version and reinstall the 500 slot on a new save? I really have no idea what I'm doing and I don't really want to run around changing everyone back again. :'(
I've installed the game fresh, and while this item works for normal NPCs, it's not for custom followers. When I use the ring and attempt to dress them up, it tells me they've been added to the control list, but I get no follow up window to make chanes.
Any ideas?
EDIT: Exiting the game and relaunching seems to have done the trick, at least for me. Thanks!
Hi. I have a question. In the past, i changed the outfits of the character's with command. However, in certain character's like the Alakir's it was necessary to keep a piece of the original outfit. Otherwise, exiting the Command Console would reset the character's outfit. Does the same happen with this mod?
you don't remove any outfits manually here, you outright 'overwrite them' when you change clothes. And I can't guarantee the Alik'r for a 100% but I've never had a problem with people resetting if you only remove their outfit :) Bottom line: this shouldn't be an issue with this mod :)
Great mod. But hey, I have a problem though. The NPCs keep returning to their default outfit after some time. I've tried to remove the default outfit but they keep returning (They don't wear a thing).
Make sure you're locking them. Without them being locked with the ring, they'll eventually revert to the default outfits or to naked if you removed them :) If the notification after using the lock function says "gears are locked", you should be good :)
Мод Супер ! Но есть проблема . Не могу увеличить слоты больше чем 200. Не могу понять как это сделать. На скриншотах плохо видно и не понятно . Подскажите более подробно . С Уважением к Вам !
If i removed the default clothes, how can i make the npc go back to its original state, with their original default clothes?
also, i have a mod that makes npc sleeps in rags, but the npcs i changed the clothes don't go to rags cause their outfit is locked, is there a way to do so?
It always bothered me that while NPCs could dress more appropriately for the weather, particularly in such places as Windhelm, beggars and orphans would still be in rags.
Obviously, the game was not programmed in such a way that Windhelm's fellow residents had enough compassion to toss a few hand-me-downs toward Silda the Unseen and Sofie, nor offer the vacant house of the Butcher, once dealt with.
Using the mod Apachii Divine Elegance Store, it was nice to see them in decent clothing, and out of rags! Very useful mod. Kudos for a great idea, and execution.
