Same question here, more or less. I tried it with icy mesh remaster, and the textures were fantastic, but the glaciers started glowing in sunlight and I'm not entirely sure why lol.
I guess a better question is, what do I need to do to use it properly in SE?

Hi, its probably because my textures are made for normal meshes in LE. (Icy Mesh Remaster meshes have been probably edited to be bit more specular) And my textures also have high contrast specular map if I remember correctly. You can turn down the specularity of the highlights by opening the glacierslab_n.dds file and turning down the brightness of the black and white alpha channel map. Then just save the file again with your desired dds plugin and replace the modified file to your game.

Softwares you can use for this are like, adobe photoshop dds plugin or intel plugin. Or just for quick edits GIMP and download a dds plugin for it.

I gave it a go with Photopea (reverse-engineered online photoshop if anyone's curious), but I either didn't turn it down far enough, or I poked the wrong thing lol. I've also downloaded gimp to try doing it that way, but for whatever reason I can't get the Brightness-Contrast tool to work. Time to read the manual for me!

These are the best and most perfect detailed textures I've seen! Incredible work man. In addition, your custom ENB is beautiful, the realism it has is admirable.

This affects only textures and its up to you what you want to download. Snow changes snow, glacier textures affect big glaciers and ice cave textures affect ice cave textures. Just overwrite if asks. + If you want to combine stuff from other mods you just need to select the textures you want to replace.

Is this for screenshot purposes only or can you actually play the game with this? I have a Nvidia 2070 super.

Yes you can, I can and have played the game like this for many years. Just recently upgraded my GPU and now more playable than ever. Went From 780 Ti to RX 580 8 GB and from there this month to 6800 XT.
