About this mod

Fluffy white snow, clear ice and chilly caves.

Once again this project has been sitting on my HDD for the past 6 years. Need to release it finally.

Overview
Snow : My aim was to make a completely seamless snow that looks good everywhere and is realistic in its own way, Skyrim snow is really bad especially in LE. I also tricked use ENB effect of LE's bit broken parallax effect to give snow more depth and fluffiness though it doesn't really look "realistic". Snow shader in LE is non existent and can't be compared to SE snow. (Snow are ice crystals that refract light and is really reflective when looking at certain angles, (I live in Finland and see snow every year). Snow is white and should be white, with only ENB's and shader differ the colors to desired look. - Texture should not be the defining coloring of your snow.)

Glaciers : My aim was to make glaciers textures that are compatible with every mod, vanilla and my mod that I released in 2016 (PROJECT GLACIER), refract light and is subtle enough to be used with my mod (PROJECT GLACIER). Eventhough this works really good when paired with my refractive glacier mod (Glacier mod introduces some bugs like z fighting of refractive materials like flame spell heat refractions) so it isn't perfect but still looks unique. So I suggest you give it a try of pairing it up with Project Glacier. :)

Ice Caves : Ice caves are just a retexture that use the normal mesh system of the game, paired with ice cave walls that fit the style of game I do. (light limestone rock) and subtle ice from the glacier mod (diffuse texture could be better as in overall look but I don't really care cause it looks dope enough.)

Marsh Ice and Rubbles : This is legitimately the same textures over again, but still give a really good look. Layer by layer of bubbles and ice crystals (Only critique from myself is that it should be a bit more non repetive) Ice floats on the otherhand are WORK IN PROGRESS and I really don't know how to adress them, in my opinion they just look bad and off. (If they are not an 3D object). Supplied a general look that isn't perhaps too hard or even too seamless to be acceptable as an "retexture" and also changed float meshes that they do not have ugly vertex coloring.

(Recommended because snow shader in Skyrim LE is broken, there is a really weird blue texture if you dont use one, and using a mod like Snow Shader Fix, fixes that.)

Recommended to use: Snow Shader Fix or Better Dynamic Snow

TLDR : Snow mod, ice mod, ice cave mod, ice float all in all made for to be used with Project Glacier but works good without it also.

If anyone is interested this was recently released :

For the tradition of it, happy to be on hotfiles <3
