I'd hoped this mod would work for me, but with my current female face mods, they look very eerie, with child voices and incredibly old looking kids. It's like pageant tweens, never meant to exist in any reality.
For those who seem confused, it's stated in the description: it pulls from your face mods and reworks them for children. So, if you have glamazons, all the kids are gonna look like mini glamazons. It isn't this modder's fault, as all they did was rework some textures for it. If you don't mind them all looking like overly beautiful teens, then you should be fine with it.
Well, what does it do then? Saying 'full effect' doesn't explain much. On a side note, what's the difference between the different versions in the fomod? I've never seen a fomod that lets you install different versions of a mod, and I don't know anything about diamond skin either. I would guess it got some overhaul at some point?
I just ported this from SE, it changes the skin from the RSChildren. You have 2k and 4k textures, what is the part you don't understand? I don't use fomod! I just edited the textures and placed them such as the se version located here: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/75285?tab=posts
The thing gives another option besides the 2k and 4k. Something about version 2.0+ and 'legacy' 1.9.5. I know nothing about diamond skin, so I don't know what difference this makes.
edit: Looking at diamond skin for SE, apparently it received a major overhaul with v2, including completely new normal AND diffuse maps. Still no idea what difference was actually made. Guess I'll just have to try both in-game and see for myself.
edit 2: Looking at it myself in game, version 2 appears to look rougher, with some of the kids even having scars. I think I prefer the 'legacy' version for this reason. Maybe someone should upload some screenshots showing the difference?
I don't think so! If it does mess it up, let me know and i will create a patch! But it shouldn't because it only replaces the skin, all mods of rschildren are compatbile with this, except it changes their skin!
Please tell me if you can install these textures in the middle of the game, when you have already met the NPS? Why I asked: when I changed Demoniac's skin, аll NPCs from the "Bathing Beauties - Luxury Suite" mod have a darker head and and the head is different from the body color. At the time I made the change, I had already opened the location.
As far as i know there won't be a problem with installing it with a existing save, it doesn't edit the child faces or the NPCs in any way. It only changes their skin color. Make a saving of the skins and saves, only to be carefull. If there is an issue let me know! Will you?

ADDED:
Inconsequential NPC children (with RSC patch) use it too. Yey!
