I have finally backported all the compatibility patches. Most of them are for mods that I do not use. Checking for errors and testing them is super tedious and slow, for assured quality of the mod files. I hope that I no longer have to do any more backporting in the future.
okay i am having some issues with this mod at first the mod seem's to work fine as i can take the head's of the bounty target. unfortunately the heads do not appear my characters back when i take them.
I believe , according to the original mod, as this is just a port,, you need --
Visible representation: Bandits/Dragons/Giants will lose their heads when you get proof of the bounty, this is reflected on their model. If you have AllGUD installed, an optional patch allows for your character to display the items on you (or your horse in the case of dragon skulls). This accounts for backpacks too, so there's no collision between the items.
i somehow knew all geared up would be involved in that, but unfortunately that mod refuses to work on my end, and it seem's to only work properly if you have iEquip which is known to screw up a lot of scripted items including the one's from other mods.
Love the idea, though unfortunately it seems to require at least one of the DLCs in order to be able to work. Might be a good idea to list that as a requirement so people know before downloading.
This does not require the DLCs at all. This is due to an annoying quirk of CK, where loading in the .esm of the DLCs causes CK to attach them as requirements into any created .esps despite not using the DLC data. Since this is a backport from SE, where the DLCs are included, all .esps made in the SE CK will attach DLC as required masters unecessarily. I will remove the DLC master requirement in a future update, but for now, you can use xEdit to clean the unused masters from the .esp.
In addition, almost every major mod requires all DLCs anyways. It's quite rare to find people without DLCs.
Yeah, fair enough. I finally got Skyrim reinstalled (computer issues, long story...) and gave your advice a go - I removed the cell for Bulwark Bastion (guessing that's the one for Dragonborn) and that seemed to set it to no longer require Dragonborn as a DLC.
Weirdly though, it also resulted in all the bounties going to Falk Firebeard in Solitude, even though the bounties I picked were in Whiterun. I did enable the Leveled Bounties, if that potentially caused the effect, or it was a side effect from what I deleted offsetting a bunch of things.
Don't stress about making a non-DLC version of this (though it would be greatly appreciated), you gave me good advice it just turns out that there was something outside my skill to tweak and fix.
I like the idea of the mod, however either I'm doing something wrong or it's not compatible with hunterborn. The head of a dragon I killed with a bounty, didn't show up at all. Is it because I'm using notice board instead of missives? I see the SE version has patches for notice board. Just not sure if it's that or hunterborn that isn't working for me. Ah well, I have too many esps anyways so.
I don't use Hunterborn. I did not backport all the patches, only the ones for which I use.
Backporting a SE .esp usually requires me to modify the records to refer to the LE .esp equivalent. This is especially true if the SE .esp master file uses a different name from the LE .esp, so I would have to modify the data to refer to data exclusively from the LE .esp to clean away the SE .esp as a master file requirement. While the records may be the same, sometimes, record references may not be so. Backporting a .esp is more than just converting the .esp number from 44 back to 43.
If I would backport all the patches, it would be too time-consuming for me to download an unknown mod, determine the purpose of the records, and check that all the data references correctly. I know that really small and simple .esps can be backported very easily, but not all .esps are that simple.
While I would love to help you resolve your issue, I am sorry that I am unable to resolve it. Maybe you can try using the SE patch for Notice Board, but I have no guarantees. JaySerpa would be a better help.
All good, brother. Just was posting this more as a "if someone else is in my shoes" kinda deal. It's a nice immersion thing, but with LE being limited severely on esp space (as esl doesn't work like it does in FO4 and SE) I gotta be choosy with what I install.
Thanks for your work in backporting regardless, people like you are the MVP.
Worried about the .esp limit in LE Skyrim? Good sir, I want you to have fun, not make sacrifices. I use this xEdit script to merge plugins for me to avoid the limit.
Note that some very rare .esp files cannot be merged due to special numbering issues or something. It's very rare. This instance will just result in a failed merge and the script will notify you of the non-compliant .esp.
Obviously, I would only merge similar .esps together, like 3 small patches for a single mod into one patch.esp.
I think I used this once before a while back, and had weird results. Probably wasn't doing something right on my end, I might give it another go. I used it to merge a lot of my armor mods, though now admittedly since I have to be choosy I've disabled a lot of those armor mods. I was hesistant to use it on big scripted mods like frostfall, campfire, hunterborn, realistic needs and diseases, bathing in skyrim, and my combat overhauls like ACE and vigor.
Maybe I can use it to save a few esp space and install a bunch of jayserpa's other stuff I just found I wanted to install lol. But yeah, thanks either way.
And also, I am not sure of I am right, Some mod like "Oblivion Gates", - work in game, but cause me 260 "unattach instinces" even for a new start. If using those merge file. If I am not mistaking, max only 2 should be there.

Is it compatible with Requem? The mod seems doesn't work :(
