Hello and thanks. I tried elks and rabbits; Elks are fine but rabbits are still same.

Does the mod need a DLC or something? It keeps crashing after the intro, fairly new to all this modding stuff so I might be missing something...? I installed the required files and this one through Vortex by the way.

Read the description. If the mod requires a DLC, then it would say so.

Crashing on startup usually means that your load order is wrong and you need to organise them. You would need someone to resolve your specific issue and it is not my job.

Oh, didn't know you had to order mods... No worries, I'II search around and see if I can fix it, thanks for the backport by the way. Hope I can fix this and don't have any problems with the other backports you did...

EDIT: I somehow understand how I should be doing things but even after organizing my mods the game still crashes, I decided to only load the mod and same thing happened, I was sure it was not the other mods as most of them where just bug fixes.

After carefully looking around I didn't notice that Vortex was warning me Master files are missing, those would be the DLCs. I saw I had the Legendary difficulty so I thought I had the LE but guess I need all DLCs too. I downloaded 2 other mods that had these problems and all of them where the same. I'II try to ""work"" my way around this and get it working so I can give a endorse, many thanks again for the backport.

This mod does not require DLCs at all. The mod only creates a spell that is a combination of waterwalking and slowness, which are present in the vanilla game. You mentioned that you downloaded two other mods, which would be the ones responsible for the missing masters crash and certainly not this mod.

Legendary Edition is unconnected to the Legendary difficulty in any way. Legendary Edition is the vanilla game and all 3 DLCs. A lot of mods rely on features added by the DLCs.

Yes, I downloaded the mods after I uninstalled this one to check if vortex would advice me of any problems, the problem being the crash and vortex warning me of missing masters. I heard people saying vortex is horrible and buggy, that must be the reason why vortex is asking for all the 3 DLC masters then?

If you really say that it doesn't need any DLCs then there's something happening here because after installing all DLCs the mod works fine, even the other ones that I tested that had problems with crashing works now, keep in mind that I tested then without using any other mods in the meantime. I'II be deleting the DLCs as I won't be needing them now, I prefer to get them "officially" later on, just glad the mod works, thanks again.

For some reason installing this mod mod my FNIS trigger a completely new spell animation mod that I found on nexus but never installed and break multiple animation rigs for 3rd person in general. Removing the mod reverted everything back. I'm guessing you somehow ported the FNIS files containing animation mods as well as the Animal Swim mods.

My good sir, you accuse me of embarrassing sloppiness, but I would suggest a bit more restraint. I'll try to explain myself in the most simplest of words.

Did you know that you can preview the files of the mod before downloading? In the files tab, there is a "Preview Files" button in the lower left corner. In the mod are only two files, one .esp file and one _DISTRI.ini file. If you open the .esp in xEdit, which is a modding tool as basic to modders as a hammer is to a carpenter, you would see that the only contents in the .esp file is defining a combination spell with the effects of slowness and waterwalking, which are both vanilla spell effects. The .esp is only a record book. The _DISTRI.ini file is only a one-line text file that commands SPID to give the combo spell to animals. The _DISTRI.ini is only a text file that only one specific mod can read.

There is nothing these files can do regarding animations nor FNIS. It's like saying the coffee machine killed the dog. It makes absolutely no sense at all. I would highly suggest you to try using a mod manager to organise your mods better and to clean your game, for your description implies that you are installing mods manually or do not know how to test mods at all.

I'm using vortex for Skyrim since it's easier to keep track of mods. The problem initially is that after installing the mod FNIS seems to create animation fils that aren't even in my mods, as well as breaking the combat turn animations. I never encountered this kind of problem but the thing is that even if I uninstall all me animation mods the problem persists until I remove the mod. I'm genuinely at a loss for what may cause it so i came to the conclusion that it's something to do with the files, since the problem is still there even after I disable all the possibly conflicting mod. If it's not that then I'm at a loss.

It is impossible for the files of my backport to interfere with any animation-related mods. However, other mod authors told me that FNIS is not compatible with newer behaviour mods. It appears that this issue is from FNIS on your end, not this mod. What spell animation mod is causing the issue with FNIS? May you confirm that you are using FNIS and not Nemesis? Those two are completely different mods.

I don't have Nemesis, never tried it since I heard it conflicts with FNIS. The animations that I got seemed to be some unknown movement and idle animations, Leviathan combat animations and a spell casting animation that I could swear I've seen here but can no longer find. Its the one where your character does a sort of finger pistol on idle stance for destruction spells, in my case for electric ones.

Sorry, but many others have downloaded the mod without a problem, some of which I presume are also using Vortex. After discussing with other mod authors, it appears that this if an issue only on your end. However, I am unable to provide technical support for other mods, so there is nothing I can do. The other mod authors agree that it is impossible that my backport is the cause of the root issue, however.

i dunno. might be a bit of one. in my exp, mods that distribute perks like this, cause a bit more computations from the game. but spid should help, over the old scripted way

Very, very good mod. It was funny to watch the foxes and hares jumping in the water.
