Thanks for the appreciation, It's been a while since I created the mod, but from what I remember the magicka cost is tied to the effect + duration, I think Skyrim uses the same calculation as morrowind and oblivion or at least something very similar, the problem (and what I think is the reason Bethesda removed spell making from Skyrim) is that the calculation is buggy af, and without heavy modifications to the spell effects the magicka cost was just not matched, for some spells it was extremely high, and for some it was extremely low, so I decided to make them all cost nothing for... reasons. Most of my mods are not really "serious" mods, just me playing around in xEdit in my spare time, making them as immersive as possible was not one of my top priorities =))). I could try to make one that includes balanced costs as well in the future, but it might take me a while since I got a lot going on, Uni doesn't really care about my spare time unfortunately
