In vanila you can change timescale in console by this command
"set timescale to 10" (20 is default). You don't need a mod for this.

I have similar problem. I install the mod but my timescale doesn't change. I have tried other time mods as well, but the same problem: the timescale remains at 20.
Anybody knows what the problem could be?

My timescale does not stay at what i want it to. Every time I bring up the wait menu the timescale always resets to 8. Anyone know a solution to this?

Edit: I've tried using mods for this but that doesn't work either.

Sorry and with all respect, but you are wrong. After you change timescale by console, it stays that way. Also after logging out of the game and back in again.
You can always change it again ofc, in game, which is not possible when using this addon.

LOL I just love how people are saying it is easier to use the console... even if you know the command I have to ask... how is it easier to type something in REPEATEDLY, as opposed to installing a simple mod? every time you start the game you have to type it in, with this mod it is a 1 time click of a button and moving a file which since neither are hard to do, in technicalities the console way is still harder

Back in my day, this sort of mod was included in Wye Bash, as a feature in the Bashed Patch. You could also use COBL to change the timescale. I've always just used 12 myself(1 second is 12 seconds in game), and I've always just used the console for this.
The only way I would consider a mod like this is if it had a dynamic timescale option, changing the time depending on what's going on and where you are. But those sort of mods tend to be a part of mods which add "needs", such as Imp of the Perverse's More Complex Needs.

Not saying this is a bad mod, it's just that the effect can be easily done in game, or even done dynamically instead of a set rate(albeit not so easily).

Still, everyone has to start somewhere. And not everyone knows how to use the console perfectly.

It's so much easier to just use the console for this. default time scale is 16...

"set timescale to 32" will double the default time scale... 48 will triple it... etc etc

Would like a mod that allows me to increase or decrease it with a single keypress... but for now, the console is easy enough. Silly to go through the trouble of using a mod just to set it to something else.

Mod not working for me. :/ You can check your current timescale: 'help timescale 0'

Console command works fine as usual. 'Set Timescale to 5'
