I’m not an aspiring youtuber trying to gain subs. This isn’t a plug or an ad. The fact is that I am not a healthy person, and I have a problem that I’m trying desperately to solve. I’m actually fighting for my life, really. But no, this isn’t charity, either. All I’m trying to do is start a conversation and make people think. Just listen to the video, and you’ll understand everything.
To the Nexus staff, I know how this looks, but please give me a chance. I realize that there is a rule against irrelevant and/or advertising forum posts or comments. I beg of you to be lenient and hear me out. I have been in a desperate battle for my life and sanity for a very long time, and no matter how hard I fight, things only get worse, and no one listens or cares. Every time I reach out for help, I am met with cold shoulders, deaf ears, and immediate banning. I realize that this is not the appropriate place for this. Trust me, I’m not blind to that, but I’ve tried the appropriate places and channels for years, and nothing works. Please don’t just tell me to go to Better Help. That’s not what I need. I need this message to be heard, and believe it or not, this is truly the best and only place that might help me spread this message. My mods are the only things I have ever posted online that have gotten any views or attention. It’s the only thing I’ve ever had any amount of success with. I’m trying this because I’m desperate and it’s a last ditch effort.
However, despite all that, I still wouldn’t ever dare use this platform for such a purpose if I wasn’t a serious mod author. I would never make an account with an ulterior agenda, and I would never dream of posting some bogus, garbage mod just for the purpose of linking this video. That wouldn’t help, anyway, as no one would look at a garbage mod. I am indeed a serious author. I am very passionate about Skyrim modding. In fact, it’s really the only thing keeping me going at the moment. One look at any of my mods should make it abundantly obvious that I am a serious author with a commitment to quality. I would never, ever attempt to commandeer this platform for irrelevant, inappropriate purposes. I make legitimate, quality Skyrim mods that I am proud of. I am taking a great risk to ask this small favor of the community because I am truly desperate, and out of options. I’m terrified to post this, but the feeling of despair and hopelessness of not trying is worse. Please—this place and my mods are everything to me; please allow me to stay. Please, I beg of you, be lenient, give me a chance, and don’t take away the only thing that gives my life purpose anymore. Please, at least do what no one else has been willing to do—listen to the video. Consider my words before taking disciplinary action. Just give me that much.
To the community, please do not post anything whatsoever about the video here. Keep all posts relevant to this mod. I’m not supposed to be doing this as it is, so I can’t have the comment section derailed. Resist the temptation to say anything about the video here. That will only make trouble for me, as I’ll have to hide the posts. Just listen to it. That’s all I ask. Thank you.
P.S. If you listened to the video, I'd just like to add that I think some of my local efforts are finally paying off. Things have improved, and I'm doing better, but it's far from over, and I have to keep up the fight. Thanks.
Okay, now I see it is a mesh and textures. I was extremely inattentive! I thought it was textures only. Now, this can be useful. I used to be nourishing the idea of making it possible to craft clothing. My idea for the whole cycle was:
- you collect the material (wool from live animals, linen or cotton from particular herbs); - you craft a fabric (using a special furniture that is a loom); - you craft clothing (using a loom) (some pieces of armor requires linen or wool fabric as well).
The mod was workable. I was missing the loom (there was a model from mod but with no animation, so it didn't make sense to me), and the model for the fabric. It was lost with the other data from my computor, but I may consider recreating it, so this source may come in handy!
I thought I saw a loom model source, but it turned out it was a spinningwheel: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/25279 Think it's possible to make a spinningwheel operating animation? I am sure you'll agree it is boring when furniture has no animation.
Also I found beautiful pictures of a loom for ESO (?) Not sure what it is, just a concept art or a workable furniture (have no experience with ESO myself).
Oh... I get it. No, no... I just picked three colors that I liked. Many of the outfits I have in my game are black, white, or red because I like those colors and that's what I think looks good on my character, so I just picked those colors for the fabric. Pure coincidence.
