OMG!i love all ur mod especially this one,its completely brings immersion to my traveler character so thanks so much for ur work!all i can do is endorse this gem ? ? edit : some reason i can't use my emo or mybe i dunno how to so,dont mind that
This is a good mod that embodies the basic idea of actually putting things in a bag. I also like the variations and designs of the bags. I'm curious, why are there 10 bags with the same name? I translate the mod myself into my native language and play it. When translating, would it be better to number each of the 10 bags to distinguish them? Or is it better to keep them all with the same name as the original? And one downside is that the weight of the items in the bag is applied to the bag as it is. Of course that's realistic, but the purpose of non-inventory containers in RPG games is to lighten the weight of the inventory. This bag can't be used like that.
LOL you guys crack me up. I have one crew that don't want the enchantment at all another that is lowering the carry weight to less for realism another that is slightly increasing the carry weight because it's just not enough. Somebody else who doesn't want to see the menu pop up and now you are seeking a bag of holding. Each bag has a 50 carry weight bonus while equipped. If you would like more add as much as you want in Xedit to all 5 enchantments. Here is a screenshot
Also you can change the name of the bags to what ever you want. Each bag is unique w/ a unique container so each bag is associated with only the items you put in it.
I think you misunderstood what I was saying. I'm not talking about carry weight magic enchantments. What I'm talking about is that when i put an item in a bag, the weight of that item is applied to the bag. my bag now weighs over 1400. After all, this bag cannot be carried with a lot of stuff in it.
I see. Well I originally made them to separate inventories on followers. So, followers wouldn't have access and attempt to equip or use any of the items in the bags. Also I didn't want the bags to be bottomless with unlimited storage.
these add dialogue option to npcs that accesses separate inventory, but when player wears them how does that work? standard carry weight bonus? spell to access players separate inventory for backpack?
personally i like consistency over functionality, while these are awesome they eliminate the reason to get any other backpack from any other backpack mod, would you consider making a version that has these function like every other backpack mod for the npcs? (just gives carry weight bonus with no extra inventory) or maybe make an invisible item that takes up a rarely used body slot, which adds the extra inventory dialogue to the npc wearing it, this way you can stick whatever backpack you want on them and still have the separate inventory
Same exact way it works for NPCs. Set it on the ground, open it, put your s#*! in it. Pick it up. Equip it to get the carry weight bonus. I want my toothbrush! Take if off. put it on the ground. open it. find your tooth brush and brush your teeth. Crap! I just took that sword out of that dead giant skeleton's hand before he fell apart before my eyes *CROM* now I'm burdened. I better drop some of those 30 pieces of wood I've been carrying around in my backpack. You should download it, get behind the wheel. Test drive it. I mean don't be afraid to give it the gas. If you don't like, delete any saves you may have when you had this mod installed. Load the save you officially had prior to you even knowing this mod existed, carry on gaming and we'll act like we never met.
Oh yea, as far getting the dialogue and wanting to use another backpack as long as the backpack is in their inventory you will get the dialogue. So put the backpack you want them to sport around town on first... or last I can't remember which.
P.S. you don't get the carry weight bonus if it's not equipped.
Discovered that this works with 'Container and Arrow Weight Restrictions' (https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/68285) - this sets a maximum weight for containers. Only slight problem is that the hip bag has a limit of 50 and the duffle a limit of 75 but a bit of tweaking might sort that out.
