It seems that the mod does not recognize its own mod. I selected the Bretron Lass option and in the mod settings it says Race: Unknown. For example, when I select Breton teenager in McM it says Race: Teen So....I have no idea what to think about this mod. Does it work or not? I don't know
I'm using the level aging. I started as a Nord child and just went from level 10 to 11. After leveling there was no update to teenager. In MCM the race detection and aging shows Nord child, next growth spurt -9 levels, next life stage -1. I did not use the debug.
Interesting. there is a mod on Loverslab called Family Ties ( just because it's on Loverslab doesn't mean this mod is adult only. As far as I remember, there is nothing about 18+ material in this mod. so I recommend it) anyway, Family Ties states that the player has a family (father, mother and siblings - or some of them depends on the starting profile) With this mod Growing Up - Reborn it would be even more interesting, because the player would actually start as a child. And we wouldn't cry if someone stole our sweet roll. and when we Grow up and moving we can go away from home in search of adventure.... Till someone shoots us in the knee with an arrow XD
I, nice mod mod but I have a question. Do I have to do something to actually grow up? In the MCM it says "Time until next life stage: -5 days" I have been waiting and sleeping and nothing happens, im stuck in child form
It should work right out of the box, no need to turn it on. I assume you're using Calendar Ageing? There's a few things to consider here:
1. Is your child race recognized by the mod? In the MCM, it should say "Player Race:" and then show your race & age, ex. Breton Child. If it says "Unknown", then the race is not recognized by the mod and will not be able to function.
2. Have you set the lifespan to your liking? If you're looking to see the quickest results, set a "Short" lifespan, which will trigger a growth spurt every 2 game days. (You would become a teen after ~20 game days.) Please note that so growth doesn't interrupt gameplay mid-day while you're doing other things, you have to a) reach the target growth date, and then b) sleep/wait for any amount of time, and then the growth/lifestage will process.
3. Since your time until next lifestage is -5, that tells me that you've probably used the debug option "Trigger Manual Growth Spurt". I used this for testing purposes, so I don't recommend this as it will 100% break the "time until next" counters, and probably calendar ageing as a whole, since they rely on "Game Days Passed" to calculate.
Probably. There's SE versions of all the required mods I used, so thankfully that's less of a hurdle. But I have to do some research on how to make the adaptation; I just haven't gotten around to it.
Excelent mod! I have one question: i am trying to mod rs children skeleton in order to use adult outfits like dragonscale armor (WITHOUT SEAMS). I was succesful on the female body, but i wasn't so lucky with the male body, COuld someone help me, maybe sending a good video tutorial on how to edit the male children skeleton? Thank you!
As for your question, Armor and Clothing for Kids already does this I think (though I'm not sure about the seam situation), but I myself can't advise on skeleton editing since I've never done it.
I am sorry, but Armor and Clothing for Kids is not an option for me, it adds adult meshes for children outfits! It has a lot of seams, i am working to change that: I had two options: 1- Create an esp that will replace children's adult outfits with a mesh made for their Skeleton (Which is a lot of work). 2- The simpler one which is changing the body_0 and body_1 from the male and female child with a mesh inspired on vanilla skeleton (that way if someone uses bodyslide, the only thing he needs to do is replace my child skeleton with their own). I succeded with the female but not with the male, he has a very small neck and skins that are incompatible with adult morphs.

Also, there are other teen stage presets out there, would it be easy for someone to include them to the logic of this MOD themselves?
For example, when I select Breton teenager in McM it says Race: Teen
