Any way to use this if I'm not using the vanilla faces and I don't know how to use the Creation Kit?

i don't know if you'll ever see this, but many of the npcs heads have turned brown. removing the mod makes it worse, so it's definitely this one. i have no idea how to fix it.

Sounds like your FaceGenData is outdated. Reexport it using the Creation Kit. Or download the Base Game FaceGenData and let it overwrite everything.

    Hello dovaya,
I've found some npcs like that still using it's vanilla hair and a having a grey face. I have confirmed you had a facegendata nif file for this npc but it did not apply on the npc in game.

This is very odd. Are you sure you don't have another mod overwriting these NPCs?

So you Tested it? If it's alright on your game, then It's probably the Unofficial Legendary Patch. I could just delete they're modifications from the esp with TES5Edit but i am still hesitant. That's why i wait for your reply first.

Ah, no, don't delete anything from the USLEEP .esp. Just let my mod overwrite any of its files. They forward the fixes from the patch.

I tracked down all gray face characters and modify them myself. Now all is working.
Most of them were vanilla vampires modified by Dawnguard.esm I simply chose the headpart data in TES5edit that your facegens follows

I see. That still sounds strange, because I'm quite sure that when I exported the FaceGenData, USLEEP was active, meaning it should have applied both its fixes and my new hair.

But yes, whenever you get grey faces, you can just re-export the FaceGenData. I hope all is solved for you now.

Yeah, actually the gray faced vampire lords head part data were modified 3x times between Skyrim.esm - Dawnguard.esm and Unofficial Patch(Which i modified before) That's what i saw on Tes5edit. installing the latest Unofficial Patch and re checking conflicts solve it. Which took me a while. haha

hiya, apologies if this may not be the right place to ask/is already talked about. I read the description, but unfortunately I still do not understand anything about how to make both Freyja and this work. I have had both these mods work on their own, but I haven't been able to make them work at the same time. I assume I needed to re-edit the facedata with this mod installed, and I don't fully understand that, is it just by re-doing the same process as Freyja with both plugins enabled? I'm very new with this. Also, I tried opening this mod's plugin in CK, then I got a warning, in which the strings couldn't be read or opened, how could I fix this? Kudos to you still for these good mods, but I want to understand how to make them work in my game at a beginner level

Hi! First of, thanks for using my mods. This is indeed the right place to ask for help.
You are on the right track. However, I'll give you some detailed instructions.

      1. Install both Freyja and Comely Coiffures as well as their dependencies.
      2. Open up the CK. Activate all base game .esm files and mod .esm/.esp files that add NPCs as well as the Comely Coiffures .esp file.
(Freyja doesn't have an .esp file, so there is nothing to activate on that front.)
      3. Load the files.
(You can ignore the warning the CK gives you - it's just an indicator that Comely Coiffures is in another language than the base game.)
      4. Once the CK has loaded the files, select all female, adult, non-beast NPCs and export their FaceGenData by hitting CTRL + F4.

I hope this clears things up! Also, note that I uploaded the FaceGenData for the base game and Unofficial Skyrim Legendary Patch and Cutting Room Floor in Freyja's patch center. You can find it here, so you won't have to go through the hassle above (at least not for the base game and said mods).

No, I mean the SE mod. It is compatible with Skyrim LE. Please read the mod description page carefully, it should give you all the info you need.

EDIT: Ah shoot, I just realised that I didn't give specific instructions as to how to install the SE mod. Sorry about that, and thanks for commenting!
