I have been making this port for a long time. Right now I have little interest in working on backports. Myst42 never answered me, so I expect either a ban or something like that. I don't care if I get banned or not. I did this for myself and for those who, like me, wanted to see a more updated and fresh way of developing Undeath on all the beloved Original Skyrim (LE).
I will give the right to edit the Myst42 mod site, as well as the author of The Ascension (Lite), NovaCoru.
      happy game)

@Darth03Cor0111 since you made this public, I'll reply in public too.
First of all, sorry for not replying, I intended to, but I often leave replying for later and in this case I just forgot and got too busy in other projects. The problem for me specifically is Undeath has had so many edits and different versions, expansions forth and backports that I don't know what is what anymore. I cannot "make my mod compatible with your mods" because I would have to get deep into knowing what your mods actually do. And I just don't want to work in Undeath for these days, I'm not Undeath's janitor. My project, was mostly models, textures, script work and plugin edits, which are not quantifiable, but I have no way of knowing what is being used anymore as the "latest version". The SE port, was made from my original LE version and then I have no freaking Idea what this Lite version does or what is "Lite" about it. I was waiting for Classical Lichdom backport to resume work one day on this thing, but it never came, or another update was made by someone else, and I just got bored of waiting. The TL;DR is, this project, now confuses the hell out of me and it just stressful to even think about it.

Since the SE port exists, it would be safe to assume I already gave permission for it to exist. And being someone who still uses LE myself, I have no problem with ports, and I like that they happen. However, the passive-aggressive tone of your sticky post was completely unnecessary. I understand if you're pissed for not getting a reply, but the tone just makes it worse and kinda predisposes people into taking an aggressive stance.

Luckily for you and for this project, I'm not a dickish author and I'm also, as said, not Undeath's janitor. If you want to use my work you can do so as long as you're not profiting from it in real money, donation points or whatever, especially if you're repacking it as a standalone thing. It is one thing to make a patch that builds upon someone's work, and an entirely different one is to repack their work as a new thing. I did NOT gave permission previously, but I guess you can have it now. No need for "bans" here. I just wont be giving any support for the many versions of Undeath edits that keep popping up.

Just to chime in, thank you Myst for your comment. I *totally* get the idea of being stressed out by your older projects, I still feel that way about Homemaker over on Fallout 4. We really appreciate the work you've done though, or we wouldn't all be here right now, lol.

Myst of course is the original author, but I have given open permission on any of my specific edits. I never had any issues with this port so long as it got Myst's permission, and now that it has that's good enough for me.  Just make sure you focus any support inquiries for the LE version here and abide by the DP/money thing Myst mentioned and you have my blessing as well.

I didn't know what to do as it was hidden for almost half a year. I just decided to put this mod in the public domain as my "for now" final chord. I use google translator for communication because I don't know how to use English in dialogues and texts. Perhaps just because of Google my words could not be correctly voiced ... Do not think, I do not hold a grudge. All I did was just porting and I was very lucky in this. I tried hard to go through almost every line of the mod in TES5Edit comparing information with SEEdit and achieved something that I did not even expect. I'm just tired and cold in this direction now. Maybe in the future I will continue to do this... Apologies if I was rude and thank you for your efforts on your mods!

    Finally, thanks
Suggestion: when entering combat, the camera moves to the back of the lich for a better field of view, the problem is that the head of the lich gets in the way of the crosshairs making it difficult to track enemies with spells like lightning storm, could you offset the camera so that doesn't happen?

In order for the camera to become normal, you need to overwrite the Lich skeleton with my ported Skeleton Patch.

A small, very very terrible part of me wants to take advantage of the vampire and werewolf options in this. Add a hybrid mod and you got yourself a genuine deviant art tier OC. I'm sure someone can lore lawyer their way into explaining a werewolf vampire lich.

That said, love the customization options, this and your other two Undeath backports are what got me to give the mod another go when the current state of it in LE used to be it being too outdated.

Oh s#*! I've already finished Undeath Remastered but this version looks way better :(

Is there anyway to install this mod after finishing the quest? Or unistall Undeath Remastered safely so I can install this? Thanks in advice :)

I thought about replying to Myst's post, but opted not to since its stickied and thus my comment would also be forever stickied, and unlike nova I clearly have no ties to this mod or anything related to Undeath.

I realize mod authors often get annoyed with mod users. For darth, I don't think they meant to express annoyance with myst, but rather their frustration with not being able to use this mod in LE (and maybe not being able to get into contact with Myst). I will admit myself, I was quite annoyed when classical lichdom finally got re-released, but it was only for SE and the MO openly claimed there never would be a backport. I was annoyed with this situation, but not the mod author (whose name I can't even recall off the top of my head right now, to be honest, its been a while since I last played with Undeath, mostly due to the lack of Classical Lichdom).

Its like wanting to see another country, but not being able to (something I suffer from a lot, I'll admit). Many of us would love to experience mods, but they're not always available. In particular there's this old dragon retexture that was taken down years ago that many people want to see return, mostly thanks to all the screen shots that use it (in particular the pics on Elemental Dragons were all taken with it installed, and its also the chosen re-texture for Scatsbury, one of my favorite Skyrim youtubers, and yes it does annoy me a bit I can't 100% replicate his load order). There's also a re-texture for daedric armor I would love to have, but its long gone, and sadly the few screenshots and videos of it (that I'm aware of anyway).

Case in point, is the patches I made myself for Skytest. Skytest is one of my favorite mods of all time. I honestly wish I could endorse it more than once, something I wish for not too many mods. I actually uploaded my patches purely by request, but honestly I was more than happy to increase the availability of skytest. I hold no ill will or anger towards etayorious, I simply wanted more people to be able to play his wonderful mod despite their load order. Skytest is one of those mods that doesn't play nice with anything it seems (such as how Immersive Citizens can't be used alongside most city overhauls). Originally, I actually told etayorious (who was literally the first MO I pmed as a new mod author myself, which was no coincidence, in fact I would've pmed him first even if my first upload had nothing to do with anything he made) that I had big plans in store, and also for some advice on how to use the strange new interfaces I was seeing for the first time. Sadly, they never panned out as I explored the projects. I wanted to basically make better patches than what you see on the integration project, along with patches for some of mihail's megafauna, but I simply decided that it couldn't be done. I would still love to see these things, and I would make the patches myself if I could, but its simply beyond my capabilities. I also do back-port mods myself when I can, though obviously I don't share these (truth be told, I've backported so many I've lost track of which ones are available for LE and which aren't). I will admit though, even now I'm still trying to find a way to add woolly rhinos to my game. Not that anyone will ever get to see it anyway since I obviously don't own any model that I would use.

Yeah, I admit, mod users can look entitled at times due to how much they want to experience mods (and I also admit perhaps at least a few actually are entitled), but some simply want to experience the world. People make bucket lists for a reason, people travel to France just to see the Mona Lisa in person for a reason. Is it entitled to want wonderful experiences? I realize modding is a lot of work, even my mods, which are about as petty as they get, are actually quite a lot of work. I still recently offered to make more, after a poster mentioned that I hadn't uploaded a patch for any mods they were having conflicts with. Sadly, I didn't notice the post until recently, so they have yet to reply (I suspect they haven't even read it yet at the time I'm posting this).

I was overjoyed when I saw classical lichdom was backported, though I wasn't expecting it to be. Yeah, it may not be getting updates, nor any of the patches available for SE, but its better than nothing. Besides, lets be honest, even the most perfect mods out there have their issues, and people still play mods when they first come out and are a buggy mess. I mean, I still use frostfall even though its long abandoned and really shows its age. I've even recently taken an interest in Moonpath to Elsweyr, seriously. Maybe mod authors are just too critical of their own work. Nobody's going to care about minor flaws (beyond ones that cause crashes and compatibility issues anymore, but let's be real here there's not too many mods out there that don't conflict with SOMETHING).

I also liked seeing this mod, and immediately downloaded it. I was also worried about what might happen to the uploader. I know of some guy who ported inconsequential npcs to SE and got in trouble for it not long after I downloaded it (I continued to use that port up until I stopped using SE). I really do appreciate what darth did here, especially since he did stick his own neck out to do it. Is it wrong for people to upload photos of the Mona Lisa all over the internet just so others can see it? Does it diminish the appreciation of the original? Does it deter people who might go see it (I've read recently the louvre believes that 80% of their customers are just coming there to see the Mona Lisa, seriously).

Point I'm making is, this isn't about entitlement (though I admit its not hard to see whY), and I do understand how much work modding is (as I said, my own petty mods were a pain, and I've made far bigger ones than those, I mean I've made my own mass replacers and even patches for perk overhauls which are a real nightmare I assure you, and I'm a certified programmer here, making sense of what someone else did is really hard to do and any programmer will tell you that, in fact it was one of the first things my professor taught us). Just because someone really wants to play with your mod doesn't mean they hate you. I really wish there was more people making patches for the mods I love, and I do honestly wish I had the expertise to do it myself, even if its only for my own personal use. I do applaud Myst for being calm about this, and not reporting darth just because he wanted other people to be able to experience their mod. Perhaps darth didn't make the wisest decision, it was obviously quite risky, and I'll be honest I wouldn't encourage this. I think we should all just be happy that we can enjoy this mod, darth isn't probably going to get into trouble, and that the MO wasn't too bothered by this.

As for updating, I'll be honest, I'm actually sick of trying to keep my mods 'up to date'. I don't mind playing with an outdated version that comes with some minor issue like a typo in the subtitles I don't even have turned on or what not. And sometimes, older versions of mods are sometimes just better, either for patches or because of overhauls that bear little resemblance to the original (honestly, I'd much rather have a patch than an update). In fact, I do regularly download from the 'old files' section in mods, in particular when I'm hoping an older version would be easier to patch for than the current version. And yeah, I make a lot of patches, though I rarely feel inclined to share them (mostly because most of them aren't too impressive honestly, I got a lot of patches I like already uploaded, though sadly no more for Skytest otherwise I'd be uploading those too). That's just my personal taste though. From my understanding most people prefer updates over abandoned mods. Its just in my experience, that's never the end of the world. You'd be surprised at how many abandoned mods I'm running. I seriously can't think of too many updated after 2018 I'm running. And I'm not saying older versions are always better; I do like the new Expanded Towns and Cities that's in development, though tragically it may never be finished. Oh well, incompatibility is just an inescapable part of Skyrim I guess.
