Males 3 is now part of my Big Overhauls AIO - download it to save some plugin slots! There is a neck seam visible in my screenshots, that's nothing to worry about - the pics were taken in my mod making setup and the seam isn't part of the mod.
All screenshots were taken in LE with Rudy ENB. (except two)
For anyone still on MO1, trying to install either of the files in this mod results in an error:
From searching the web, I found a reddit post that shows what message MO2 displays when this happens and it's more descriptive:
"None of the available installer plugins were able to handle that archive, this is likely due to a corrupted or incompatible download or unrecognized archive format"
So "unrecognized archive format" seems to be the most likely culprit here. When opening the RAR mod archive file in 7zip, it shows information about the RAR format being type: "RAR5". For the other Pandorable's mods I've installed (everything else required by Pandorable's big overhauls AIO), I was able to do so without error using MO1. Using 7zip to open some of those RAR files that MO1 could handle shows a format type value of just: "RAR". This seems to confirm the theory about the RAR archive format difference which is probably a newer format than what MO1 can handle.
The workaround I used was:
Uncompress the original RAR with 7zip
Recompress to 7zip format
Install as normal with MO1, using the new 7zip archive
MO2 does not experience this issue.
However, regarding the issue noted by Conan351 below with NMM, I'm wondering if this might have something to do with the issues they're experiencing. It seems strange that this would be what is causing that issue but it is one thing that appears to be slightly different from the other Pandorable mod release files. I might be grasping at straws here, but this could be something to consider both from an awareness perspective for Pandorable and as a possible fix for Conan351's issue.
Sorry i still use Nexus Mod Manager for some weird reason it won't be added the status saids incomplete and i can't install without being added, i can extract it but i prefer to use the fomod install method, i wish i switched to a different mod manager along time ago but didn't want to start over with so many mods
NMM has always had issues opening certain fomod installers, I don't know why that is but there's nothing I can do about it unfortunately. My guess is that you'll have to deal with manual extraction while using NMM, and I highly recommend MO2 when you decide to switch :)
I really like your mods, I have a "Pandorable File" in my mod organizer 2 x). I wanted to ask you, is it possible to make Erandur (from NPC Male) Weight to 100 (for his neck). I would really really like it 🙏. Srry for my english not my native language.
180 fantastic males replacers ... + Dawnguard and Dragonborn . but Alvor , the first person we meet in Skyrim if we exit from Helgen with Hadvar , is missing .
For information , the textures on my screenshots are from " better males " ( YoungerFacesMegedWithMenByGeonox ) . Vitruvia is smoother and has better quality , i think . And i use no ENB , just " URWIL " and " Facelight " sometimes . But that's interesting to see how our games may be different ( i mean for all of us ) . The textures are really an essential thing .
