I just got into modding Skyrim in 2016 and of the ~200 mods I've used this is likely my favorite.
I can tell you put a lot of thought and work into it and I'd like to say it's very much appreciated still in 2017.
I downloaded this expecting a nice upgrade from the dinky home they give you in Whiterun. I was happily surprised with what I got, which greatly exceeded my expectations. I've been playing Skyrim simply for fun, but this is the first time I've felt that I would actually like to live there. The simple addition of notes from Garath and all the small touches made it feel so much more lively than what I've experienced from any other mods so far.

But there's a dresser placed where the door opens in the master bedroom which is unsafe and impractical. Uninstalled and not endorsed. J/k love ya.

I am unclear and would like a solid answer. Is there currently any way to "clear the collapsed tunnel" in the basement currently? I read something about it being aligned with your Dawnguard alliance, but I've completed the main Dawnguard questline on a new save file and still can't clear the tunnel from the dog trainer. Also, is this mod still being worked on (as of 4/2/2016)? Any comments are appreciated. Thank you.
I tested many player homes, fully upgraded Lakeview Manor, done it all....but at the end, the most efficient and best furnished house is still Breezehome Fully Upgradable, it is just an amazing mod! I use it in any playthrough and would suggest it to everybody:-) If I could make a request, I would love to be able to grow sugar cane in the garden;-)
I love this amazing mod so much! Nevertheless, I didn't find anyone authorized to deliver a Chinese version of this mod, and I think it's a real pity that those non-english understanding Chinese dragonborns have no access to enjoying this lore friendly mod. It's not merely a abode mod as Garath's letters are made up so fun and creative, so I think it needs to be well translated. So, can I have a permission to deliver a Chinese version on our skyrim forums? (www.skycitizen.net and bbs.3dmgame.com/forum-685-1.html)
Is there any other solution to the "children at the door" bug? I've had everithing bought from that guy in the barnered mare, then moved the family from heiljarchen hall, and Sofie is stuck at the main door...
Amazing mod, I downloaded as I thought it would make breezehome a little bit nicer to own but I was blown away by how nice it looks after all the upgrade are bought. The letters from Garath are one of the things just makes the mod ever better as they're well done and fun to read. One thing you could add in past the rubble is a massive display place where there's loads of mannequins and display cases as well as a place for the dragon priest mask and possibly even a set place for other important quest items
I'm not so sure, I'm not a big fan of these big storage places as so many other mods use it so we wont be able to fill them (like the amazing Legacy of the Dragonborn, or Jaggarsfeld). They break a bit of immersion for me. I think the author should keep to the cosiness of Breezehome and maybe add a different secret area or something to the rubble.
Is this mod still being worked on? this is one of my favorite add ons and it would kill me inside If nothing ever cam about with that collapsed tunnel ;o;
This house is awesome, my spouse likes it and the kids seem happy. Best mod I've added. Only problem I've got is that the "Bat Cave" is blocked by boulders and I can't get in or out of the waterfall, minor inconvenience. I love that spa thing, nicely done!
