ABOUT
Tincture - a tint or added color; to impart a tint or color; imbue, dye
We can all agree that the vanilla hair colors leave much to desire and I never found a hair color mod that satisfied me. Some hair colors were strange and unrealistic. Many colors were too similar to each other leaving little variety. Also, I never found a red hair color that I liked. Therefore, I created this mod with five goals:
* Create a real red hair color. This mod has one red and one reddish brown.
* Have blond hair colors be noticeably different from each other to add as much variety as possible.
* Lighten up black hair colors enough to allow details to show.
* Have the colors be true to the names of the original vanilla colors so NPCs won't have vastly different hair colors in game.
* Have "Immersive" in the title to remember the days when seemingly EVERY new mod had that word in it's title.
THINGS TO KNOW
These colors replace the default hair colors for males and females, for all races.
The exact color in your game will depend on your lighting mods, ENB, time of day, among other factors.
The screenshots were taken using ENB Silent Horizons and interior lighting mod Lux.
The hairstyles used in the pictures are from KS Hairdos.
The outfit is the Lady Duchess Henrietta Ridding Armor from Apachii Divine Elegance Store.
NPCs created in game will use these hair colors.
Wig mods that adjust to the color of the NPC will use these hair colors.
Most NPC replacer mods will not use these new hair colors because it will be set in their mod.
As with the vanilla colors, some of the new colors will not look the same on every hairstyle or wig.
COMPATIBLITY
These new colors work with mods that change hair textures, such as Salt and Wind or SC - KS Hairdos Retextured.
These new colors work with wig mods that change color to the NPC's default hair color.
INSTALLATION & REQUIREMENTS
Install as a normal mod, loading after any mod that changes hair colors.
HOW TO CHANGE HAIR COLOR IN GAME
1. Press the tilde " ~ " (squiggly line to the left of number 1 on most keyboards)
2. Type "showracemenu" to enter the character creation screen.
3. Find the slider for Hair Color and select the color of your choice.
