Really good texture mate . But there is something weird , I don't seem to be able to see the ground texture of caves ; it's still use vanilla.

Most gamers have 1080p-1440p monitors.
Less gamers have 4k monitors.
But who use 8k monitor?
And kill the VRAM btw.

I have 65" 4k TV and playing with 2K textures with 1440p and thanks all the textures is sharp enough. :P

  You don't have to download the 8K version there are also 4,2K plus sometimes these textures are stretched by the meshes to be very large although 8K is a bit over the top I admit.
