A slight upgrade add-on to Holugar's Unicorn mod. Faster movement and a custom summon spell.

I just recenly made this personal and lightweight add-on for the Unicorn mod because it has already come to be my favorite mount and I felt like the latest updates of Convenient Horses didn't seem to give me access to it's features for non-vanilla horses, aside from the automatic loot-on-kill.

What this mod does:

-Gives the Unicorn race it's own movement type data with increased speed and a bit faster rotation (default/run, sprint, swim) and some of the racial
move data values were loosely based on the horses in CH.

-Gives the pre-placed unicorn (the one and only, that you find near the Falkreath watchtower) an actual reference ID name (UnicornREF) and makes it owned by the Player faction.


-Upon your first time mounting the unicorn with this mod loaded, a lesser power (Call Unicorn) will be added to the player which you can use to summon the unicorn from nowhere, especially in case it gets lost, as long as you're not indoors. Casting the lesser power while the unicorn is under your crosshair will toggle between making it follow you, or making it resume staying put. Usually when the spell is cast, the player character will play a whistling animation and sound. If the unicorn doesn't appear immediately upon summoning it but you can still hear a neigh in the distance, try moving around in the area and re-cast the spell from different angles.
(This power will not work on copies of the unicorn that has been spawned through the console)

-If you've somehow lost the original unicorn (or if it has died) before loading this mod, you can manually add the Call Unicorn spell by opening up the console and enter 'help "call unicorn"', and then enter "player.addspell xx000800" without the quotes, the spell can automatically resurrect the unicorn and then summon it to you.

-This add-on was actually based on the version of the Unicorn mod that makes it invulnerable so it can not be killed. But the "Invulnerable" flag can also be removed in xEdit, based on your preferences.

-This mod does not require Convenient Horses. The scripted Call Unicorn spell does however rely on functions from SKSE.

What this mod does NOT do:

-Chaning the unicorn's AI data to make it brave and/or aggressive and willing to aid the Dovahkiin in battle, it makes more sense to me that it wants to stay out of trouble and not get in the way and get hit by accident. The player should still be able to fight while riding the unicorn, and that's at least something.

-Giving you the possibility to equip the unicorn with a saddle or horse armor, mostly due to potential clipping issues.

Manual installation:
Download the archive, open it in some zip program and extract the Data folder to your Skyrim directory (such as C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Skyrim), then you enable the Convenient Unicorn.esp plugin in a mod manager of your choice, including the Skyrim SE Launcher, or Wrye Bash.
