I used this for a very long time and I never encountered bugs with Dragon Priest masks. I suspect that the mod is either outdated (and I have no intentions of updating it) or it conflicts with something else.
Ya unfortunately looks like its not compatible with AOM (Art of Magicka)...
A shame you're not working on it anymore, this Mod could be very awesome if it could work with AOM, as the two are great resources for ArchMage characters; everything you need right there in the ArchMage Quarter's.
AOM uses the space in the Quarters, as you enter the main room, just to the left, it adds 3 fountains with candles on them, which are the AOM Crafting Stations, essential to crafting all the items that AOM adds to the game.
I also have another player home mod, that adds a trap door at the top of the stairs, just to the right of the bench under the window back there... looks like this mod might conflict with that too...
I can say that it WILL work with "Better Archmage Quarters," -but- there will be a couple of items "overlapping"--where the cooking pot is added, across from that, a bookshelf will merge with a desk and something else. It doesn't really matter, I'll just pretend that there was a small malfunction with a spell... With the two mods together you get a really nice archmage quarters, everything you need and it doesn't look bad. It isn't overdone and very much fits the theme and lore.
That said, even with these two mods combined there's a HUGE lack of safe storage. There's only the enchanted chest and one or two on the roof. The chests THIS mod adds, between the dummies, seem to RESPAWN. I am not sure if this is a bug, or if it's due to conflicting mods on my end, but I lost a LOT of armor like this--stuffed it all between these two dummies, and then when I got back, there was just a piece of clothing or gold or something inside--I forget now. CHECK IT, before you dump all your stuff inside! Edit--been using it since and had no more issues like this, I assume it was a one-off bug but storage does appear to be perfectly safe now.
I have found what mod makes the mask bust conflict. Unfortunately its the unofficial Skyrim patch that causes the conflict. The bug that happens is that you can place the mask on the bust in Archemage's trophy hall but when you pick it up the mask is not added to your inventory alternative is to use Player.additem <item code> 1 to add another copy of the mask to your inventory and just leave masks on busts as a decoration. I hope that creator of this mod could update this mod for this single conflict thou I know that it might not be an easy task.
@ Sjogga Just fyi, I cleaned the mod and am currently having no problems with it, though my companion refuses to enter. I assume there are lingering issues with the navmesh and the .esm workaround you did because of the prior problems with it. Mannequins unequipping items was fixed in the USKP, but if bruadri is using another mannequin mod I have no idea. As far as the masks, they're all in the Dawnspire for me, so I haven't tested that at all. I suggest just re-adding them via console, using MarkforDelete on all the archmage quarters masks, and not using them. Really I just wanted that chest. Hard to come by daedra hearts even with Economics of Skyrim installed. Sjogga, have you gotten Dragonborn yet? You said you play with Dawnguard disabled and are having lots of trouble with it, though most of my problems went away with the UDGP, but Dragonborn is definitely a great addition to the base game.
I do have Dragonborn installed, and so far it haven't given me any troubles. Even with the Dawnguard patch my game kept crashing. Uninstalling it fixed my provlems. Unless you play as a vampire or werewolf, DG doesn't add anything particular to the game.
Hello,first id like to appreciate i fucking loved the new hall...altho i found a bug,i tried it 3 times to make sure of it,when u put the masks on the bursts or armors/itens in the mannequins,after a couple days they vanish... not in the racks weapons,just the mannequins and the bursts of masks, which kinda sucks cause i lost all the 9 masks.. :/ gladly waiting for a fix
Just did a few more testings , turns out that in the mannequins the itens dont vanish,they r still there,but they mannequins take them off, so u cant see them,the masks are gone for sure.
Well, it is spit into bot .esm and .esp (due to the bug with navmeshes prior patch 1.4). I'm not sure if that causes any troubles. It's probably not a bad thing to clean it, but I can't make any promises.
I never really understood why people like the Diablo series so much. A friend tried to get me hooked by I don't understand the enticement. The only game of it's kind I liked was NWN, which admittedly I freaking LOVED. The rest, iunno. Just meh.
So you haven't touched this in a long time, but I was considering adding it to my mod list. Is there anything in here that would be a bad thing to run through TES5Edit and clean?
Can you add a version with no changes to arch-mage's (really don't like the cooking pot and other changes I'd rather just have the Enchanted Chest from your other mod) quarters please.
Just a quick question. I'm starting my game from scratch, and havent been to the college yet, so I was wondering if I could just replace my version 1.2 with the 1.3 version .... or do I need to go to the college, go to the roof of the college and make the save like it says to do and stuff ??
Endorsed and voted up. LOVE this mod. I wonder, is there a way to toggle the bed in the lower chamber to behave as a "Well rested" bed instead of just as a random un-owned bed?
