Moved my original comment under a spoiler to save space, since v1.1 takes care of the issue...

Hi! At least in my LE game, the LotD plugin is "legacyofthedragonborn.esp" not "legacyofthedragonborn.esm". So the facegeom and facetint folder names in your mod don't match the actual plugin. After losing my mind for a while trying to figure out why the NPCs were not your versions... I finally realized what was wrong and renamed the two folder names to match my plugin. After a new test... Over the weekend, I will do some more testing, since I only had time this afternoon to see a few of the NPCs.
Maybe someone else can confirm that the folders need to be renamed for everybody, and it isn't something just in my game. I have hacked and changed soooo many things, you never know. But the odds of me changing the plugin extension are almost 0, so I think this is just a difference between SE and LE, and I know you said you didn't test it on LE, so you probably didn't realize that. I hope this all makes sense!
Edit: Since your plugin has "legacyofthedragonborn.esp" as the master file, it seems the folder names DO need to be renamed for everybody. To be clear for other users that are having a problem and don't want to wait for an update:
I renamed the final folder/directory names in these two paths, just changing the last letter from m to p. So...
The v1.1 update works. I didn't think about the texture paths in the meshes themselves, so good you updated the meshes, too. So again, I only tested a few NPCs, but everything looks to be working fine. I will report back if I find anything else. My next step is to test more, and then merge your changes into my game to save the esp slot.
Kudos for your fast reponse! And because of that, before I even finish testing... Endorsed!
Hi - two more small things I noticed in the LE plugin that are different than they are on SE:
Spoiler:
Show
Hagar [NPC_:186D6851] has weight 40 in LE and weight 30 in SE (so also in your ported mod on LE) Sieglinde [NPC_:189211FA] has weight 50 in LE and weight 100 in SE (so also in your ported mod on LE)
While I didn't test them in game (not sure where they are - maybe at one of the camps?), one or both will probably have neck seams or gaps because LE and SE weights are different. So the weights for those two NPCs should probably be changed to match their default LotD LE values. Of course... if you prefer the SE weights, users that already have LotD in game in existing LE playthroughs could use the setnpcweight console command followed by disable and enable to reset them.
Hopefully everything else is good, and the few NPCs I could easily test at the museum look great. Sorry I won't have time for more testing in the next several days. Partly because I am 2 years into my playthrough, so I am not sure where to find several of the NPCs. But mainly because in real life just discovered I am having water pipe leaks in my kitchen, and I need to figure out how to repair that situation. Stupid real life!
The weights are correct - they match actual meshes to avoid neck seams. As I said, this was a SE port, so weights are from SE too, because I don't have time to make them match LE version. If it bothers anyone and Sieglinde or Hagar have a brown face, just select them with console and type setnpcweight 100 for Sieglinde and setnpcweight 40 for Hagar.
These are wonderful presets, they retain the aesthetic of base skyrim but up the beauty/handsomeness of everyone without making them all smooth and caked with makeup. Awesome job bro.

meshes\actors\character\facegendata\facegeom\legacyofthedragonborn.esm
textures\actors\character\facegendata\facetint\legacyofthedragonborn.esm
are now:
meshes\actors\character\facegendata\facegeom\legacyofthedragonborn.esp
textures\actors\character\facegendata\facetint\legacyofthedragonborn.esp
IMPORTANT: Only rename the above folders, NOT the actual plugin!
I will for sure be using at least some of your faces from this mod. Thanks!!
PS. I will endorse after doing more testing.
//EDIT: I uploaded new file, including new texture paths in facegen meshes.
Btw I didn't have a chance to test it in LE, because I use backported SE version.
