Congrats on the release, bro! Your mod is simply AMAZING and you put your heart and your soul in this place! Downloading it now to endorse and soon as possible send some pics for the mod page! Thanks for sharing your lovely work with us!
impeccable timing! i was about to start a new game! and i saw your new version in the notification,You Know I have a suggestion maybe you should add a letter into the players inventory as early as the Helgen intro, and in the letter content you could tell the backstory that the the dragonborn is the last of his/her family linage after the passing of his/her relative probably a cousin or an uncle/aunt who died without an heir and should claim the estate since the player is the only one in the family left but should avoid mentioning the player as dragonborn since the player wouldn't know that yet during the beginning, you could also mention the political climate in Riften saying its under Stormcloaks control and that being captured by the imperials could prove problematic or even deadly due to the imperials suspicion and paranoia, which could explain why the player came to Skyrim and why the player nearly dies and also mention the leveled creature at the entrance, this minor detail in a form of a letter could improve your mods immersion and coexist with the story lol chicken are now essential hahaha!
Endorsed. I am impressed on several counts. From the small file size I'm guessing that the mod largely uses vanilla assets - always a good call for reliability. The parts have been put together well. You have set up the mod well. I went in with a new character (level 2), and I'm seeing some doors locked. Am I supposed to pick the locks or are there keys somewhere? Am I supposed to be at a higher level before going there? Not a big issue, I just don't want to "break" something by going in the wrong way or going too soon. Thanks.
There are no keys, just have to pick the lock, there's some nice loot for you once you open the Lake House. I go there at lvl 1 and I usually don't make it to Whiterun until I'm at lvl 20 or so.
Thanks for the info. I don't regularly start by going to the same place each time. The only common thing I do is get steel smithing first thing, which is why I was level 2. That fits my personality better. Retired engineer, retired teacher, and probably old enough to be your grandfather. I find playing Skyrim more interesting than TV. I also find what recreational programmers are doing interesting and I wish all of you well.
Hi! I recently downloaded Dynamic Things mod by Dominoid due as a requirement by another mod and and it seems Dominoid had not been maintaining the Mod for quite a while and I realized when I went back to Crystalwind. All the static in the estate are listed as not mine and have to be stolen, i was wondering if its possible that you can create a patch to fix this issue ??? i am not sure who to turn to
Honestly I wouldn't know where to start, something like this is beyond my skill level. Not sure why that would happen though, reading through his mod page doesn't mention anything like this. Maybe post a pic on media with this issue and hopefully someone will be able to help. I also noticed a patch in his comments section, maybe that is what you need. Sorry I couldn't be of more help, let me know if you can resolve the problem.
sooo...... i replaced dynamic things with immersive interactions by Jayserpa and it seems to be a good substitute it functions pretty the same but even comes with animations! or at least pretty close to what it was trying to express, downside i couldnt find any mods that make every training dummy useable by the player in modded homes but the mod author RichWebster seems to allowed other mod authors to use his script as long thy remember to credit him maybe you cold study it? And oh yeah immersive horses works just fine on your mod just letting you know although i accidentaly runover a chicken , by the way my laptop is an i3-8130u turbo boost 4gb ram just letting know my low end hardware could run your mod in a very stable manner in medium graphics no freeze or ctd or even lag so great job bro not often i could find home mods that are stable
Beautiful Mod also it feels like some sort of secluded hideout especially where you located the estate it adds a mythical aura to the place ,But I have a question the lake house is lock is somebody carrying the key??? or do I have to lock pick into the lake house???
This mod looks amazing from what im seeing picture wise and etc. the only question i have for you before downloading it, is how many followers can the estate hold? my skyrim playthrough is made up of ALOT of followers lol and most places only tend to have 4-6 beds for followers. so i was curious how many i could make this the home of.
In version 2.0 there is a guest house that has 6 beds, there is also a caretaker residence that has 4 beds, (Gimli the estate blacksmith will sleep in one of them at night, although none of the beds are marked as "owned". There are also separate interiors for the armory, kitchen and so on...using Nethers Follower Framework, link on the main page, you can set any interior and exterior also as a home base and assign your followers different bases when dismissed. ;)
Hy! I am here again! I know there are no place for children, but wanted to download it anyway, because loved really much. The guest house is perfect, enough room for custom followers. Really the only thing is missing is the children place and maybe a pool (for example what Lakeview Extended has in afkmods website). I am not modmaker, but my 6 children can sleep in lakeview manor on the upper stage beds (in single and double beds too), so I think it is not necessary to have child's bed and chest everywhere, but I dont know how it works. Actually, in my Manor they use only one chest. When I was whitout mods, in Breezewood my 2 children used only 1 chest too. I wanted to share some photo about my favourite places. My computer is in a minimum-level for Skyrim, so I dont think these are so high resolution photos, but still wonderful. I loved the hugging deers, the placed dragonborn-related books is so stylish idea. I am not sure how to place here photos, so I link an imgur link with around 10 photos with my favourite views. Thank you for your beautiful and peaceful home! https://imgur.com/a/Ae1z0di
