Unless there is a level to your question I'm not quite understanding. I'm going to say yes? That is after all the first image of the screen shots as well as my character walking up to the house in the video and standing under the balcony. That is the world model prior to entering the interior. Is that what you are asking?
So the .nif file is the model prior to entering the interior. What I'd like to use the .nif is for an EXTERNAL house - with no interior loading. Hope this makes sense.
Yep makes sense. You can certainly do that if that is what you are looking to do, But if someday you ask yourself "Why do I have a perfectly good house I can't enter?" The interior cell is there as well. Good luck.
What the hell are you talking about? Those are true custom milled 6"x8"x20's. None of the cheated crap you get from the big box stores. I had a few of the farm hand lackeys taking turns to give me post holes at least 8 ft deep. filled in w/ aggregate hauled over from embershard mine. All mounting points were pre drilled and fastened with 12" lag bolts which had to be ratcheted in by hand. Every single corner and mounted to the house has hurricane straps. Not a single nail was used on this project, Its all ceramic deck screws. When the inspector came out he said it was totally overkill. That thing could support 3 horses and carriages.
EDIT: You got me fuming. That thing is holding the house up!
Bridging beams are missing and the anchor points along the wall do not look very secure. Sorry, it's an occupational hazard for me, I'm a builder. I hope you don't hold it against me, I'm only joking. It's a very clever idea, by the way.
Edit: Just for the record, even vanilla structures sometimes defy the laws of physics. :D
Oh, I see. You're an actual builder... I'm a modder. I play on the computer. I don't have those types of things that restrict my creations, "Laws of Physics". Come to think of it I'm grateful I don't have to adhere such draconian laws. Now that we are speaking frankly I'll tell you something. There was no inspector that came out to the site and sign off on my work. It was all made up in my head. You see a majority of the time I live in a world of make believe kinda like you did when you were 5 yrs old. I guess it's different when you have to worry about your creations maiming or killing someone who is counting on you to do your job right. I don't have to worry about fantasy balcony's, unsymmetrical nipples and uneven pubes killing anyone. Well, gotta go. There is a taxman I'd like to create so I can kill him over and over and over again.
