Based on Stormbrand from Kingdoms of Amalur
"...Legends say that one day, as heavy storms where hitting the skies during an expediction, a proud and knowledgeable Ayleid, came in contact with a mysterious being.
Something that looked humanoid, but its form kept distorting madly, while it also emanated the purest blue light.
It moved fast as lightning itself, and when the thunder fell down from the clouds above, hitting the strange being, its body merged with the lightning, and dissapeared in the blink of an eye.
After this day the ayleid became infatuated with the power of storm, and used his prowess in enchanting and forging to create a powerful weapon.
Stormbrand as he called, infused with the power of shock was capable of releasing thunder on the targets, electrocuting all your foes.
After the fall of the Ayleid Empire, the greatsword was lost and forgotten, and there remained under rumble of some ayleid ruin, until was found by an adventurer, which thought it was best to actually sell the thing, since it barely had the strenght to wield it.
What happened to the blade after this nobody knows, perhaps it's up to another adventurer to find out..."
