Added Uncompressed version. As for those not seeing water in basins , make sure that the mesh in this mod overwrites any other water basins. Any water basins covered by other mods,the water effect may not show up and need to be patched which I have included Mur4srme's instructions.
Conflicts with "water in wells" mod. I'm going to try the uncompressed version this time but not overwrite the well mod. I'll say if it worked.
EDIT: None of the files worked lol compressed or otherwise. I tried overwriting the well mod but still nothing. The wash basin i tested this with is in the jarls bedroom at whiterun. I stood with a torch in hand to see if there was any thing but nothing happened. I use bathing mods but this only conflicted with the well mod.
It's most likely one of the bathing mods redirecting to its own basin meshes instead of the Water in Wash Basins, there isn't really a conflict between this mod and Water in Wells they just use the same water texture, which there is some info in the description.
Uncompressed are closer to SSE BC7 Quality but I capped size from 2 to 1k , to keep file sizes small. The Compressed are in DXT5 which is the best compression for SLE but may cause some artifacts in water textures and because they are compressed into a smaller size there is no cap so its 4k to 2K.
If the other mod uses a BSA file, you may have to extract the files from it so that this mod over-writes its NIF file. Mods like Bathing Beauties Luxury Suite will have its own NIF file in another folder. And so its basins will not have water in them.
I also have no water in basins. Water in the wells and in the blacksmith's forge but that's it. I'm clueless on this one I just gave up after two days of searching files line by line
Are the basins you're looking at in game, are they in dark places with no light? This water is transparent and can seen better where there is a light source near by.More light, more reflections coming off the water.
