Changelogs
Version 1.3
Even finer tuned, now from scratch, rework of the original.
Variations now include 3 types of WhiteCyanMaroon, and the special Amulet of Kings Over Seal of Akatosh. None of them are "neon" themed anymore, for also as I'm rebranding the mod. Hence the title change.
Not really any further improvements I'm planning on. Would like to move on to making something different. But I may look into if anyone asks to do something specific or points out issues.

(Also btw, my start menu screen has a dull, yellow tinge. Don't know what's causing it.)

Version 1.2
Rework of the original concept (almost) from scratch.
Includes new White and Akatosh and the Amulet of Kings version(s), the latter which I was inspired to make since the rework was based on Morrowind's Imperial emblem which had a rhombus on it's head that looked like the Amulet of Kings to me. Anyway, it's all the in media above.

A picture is worth a thousand words.

Kind of a temporary update as I'm working on 1.3 right now.
Which should include further polished files, bolder variations for these are very thin.
And more... I think.

Version 1.0
As visible in the images hopefully uploaded correctly, it is a main menu background replacer featuring a neon and minimalistic redesign of the logo (the Seal of Akatosh) seen at the start menu. Nothing else is touched. As of now, there are variations, one is Cyan and the other Maroon.

Installation:
Manual installation not recommended but, you do you. And if you do, you must know how to.
in case u dont, copy/paste the Data folder in the game directory. where the exe is.

Mods I'd recommend/often play together with + compatibility talk:
Sovngarde to replace the font. Negative Cursor, I use the half-sized one. You could also try the new Improved Cursors mod which, I actually haven't tried. Dear Diary - if you have this already, let my files overwrite it's. Also, Dear Diary's startmenu.swf file nulls the Bethesda logo in the left corner and intmenufogparticles.nif the animated smoke. Now, to replace the smoke with something perhaps better if not nothing, you could use Northern Main Menu Replacer's amazing animated falling snow, which is one file: it's intmenufogparticles.nifFrom Arena to Skyrim to replace the main menu theme music with Taico's piano cover of TES: Arena theme. To replace the, honestly ugly health, magicka bars on the in-game HUD, you could install Flat Interface. To make it work with Dear Diary, install only the interface/exported folder, ignoring all the .swf files.

GIMP, my God, what a tool. Took me 15 minutes to figure out how to simply crop an image with fixed aspect ratios... 10/10
