To keep the effects of this mod working during foggy weathers, Revamped Exterior Fog should help by pushing back the fog.

I like this mod a lot, but the new version is throwing an error in MO2:

The Following files or folders  were not found in the archive. This is likely due to an incorrect FOMOD installer. This mod may not work properly.

    • Folder 'core\textures'.

Seems to just be missing the core folder. Just thought I'd let you know tho.

Can't riverflow.dds also be made 1k or less? 2k uncompressed is quite salty.

my water animations a super speratic when i walk into the water .. almost flickery ... i know fps issue can cause water issues but this seems different its in the actual ripple of the water animation when i walk through it ... anyone have any suggestions?

FIX: XFIRE AND SLI CAUSE THIS ISSUE disabled fixed the issue..

along with the flickering ripple effects i was also having my swim animations appear a few inches above water that issue has not been fixed... anyone know what will cause that now?

Thanks for the mod! Please help me out here - do I want to "disable flow maps?" Why or why not?

I'm not sure how well flow maps work in LE since the water is different in SSE , but i included them anyways, you can try them out and see if its what you want

What are they supposed to do, exactly?

From what i understand, flow maps are used to hide the difference when changing water types (from a lake to a river, in example). I don't know how it applies to LE, as SE has improved water directions, while in LE, even ponds have current, and to fix that would require landscape edits (like RW2 does).

Righto, thanks. I'll try the version with flow maps and will be keeping an eye open for anything unusual.

So, after some quick testing I can't see that flow maps make a difference, one way or another. LE seems to ignore them. Anyway, I liked your mod a lot for rushing rivers and creeks but for my taste, it looks too busy on lakes/ponds and especially in interiors (i. e. Ilinalta's Deep, Ravenscar Hollow). Water which should be stagnant seems to run off swiftly in one direction. So sadly, I had to uninstall it and restored my previous loadout of SparrowPrince's W.A.T.E.R. 5 (no longer available on Nexus) with the default texture superseded by "Smooth Water." That fixed it (but I still get nice rushing water, steamy waterfalls, etc.)

The water is still going in one direction. That's from vanilla Skyrim. Mods that make the water choppy just make it more evident, while mods that make water stagnant hide it.
Ponds shouldn't be choppy and the ocean shouldn't be stagnant. But to get a coherent water distribution in Skyrim, you fall in landscape edits territory.

Yup - I'm sure that's why the W.A.T.E.R. mod comes came with a sizeable esp ;)

I never had the chance to test WATER myself; Pure Waters/Purity had calm waters, but it seems Laast pulled his mods out of Nexus, too.

I'm guessing not, but is this compatible with Realistic Water Two?

    Requirements

This is a bit confusing. Do i need both mods, or just one of them?

Its a soft requirement,  only if you want to keep the colors of Cathedral-Water. It can be used on its own.
