I've narrowed it down to this specific mod, and for some reason, when it's enabled, either version, the game loads for 1 second then crashes, in the menu screen.
I'm loving this mod. I recently starting using a Realistic Lighting mod, but it made the interior of most buildings WAY too dark. This mod fixes that...at least most of the ones that I've found so far. It's also cool that it's lighter inside buildings in the day time than at night. I always thought it was strange to walk into a building with windows, during the daytime, and it be as dark as most of the dungeons.
Endorsed! Not sure why this mod isn't used and endorsed more.
This is great work; I always found it amusing how the black patches would refuse to go no matter what settings I used for the RL mod... now i can actually see who is swinging the greatsword at me!
The only thing I don't like about it is that the lights are just.. there.. no torches or lanterns.. just.. there.. And they clearly have a bulb in the room.
First, I absolutely love this mod and have endorsed it.
I've been fiddling with the RealisticLighting.ini in skyrim/Data in an attempt to tone down the interior sunlight. The problem is, nothing I do to any of the settings has any effect.
I tried making a diff file between Sydney's config and this one to see what changed. I've been altering both interior multipliers and global multipliers using this (unfinished) guide.
But nothing I do seems to change it at all. I can set targetlum2multiplier(global/interior) to anything (lower or higher) and I get the same effect. Am I in the wrong directory or something?
I have Realistic Lighting with the Sydney666 config installed via Wrye Bash. I want the lights out effect and I want it to be slightly brighter than Sydney's config, but this mod seems to make the interior sunlight far too intense. I'm specifically thinking of some areas in the back of The Bannered Mare.

The wall there is pretty much glowing. I'd prefer if it... wasn't. I still love that clear day/night cycle, though. I'd appreciate if someone could help me.
Just wondering how to use this along with Realistic Lighting - Is this mod strictly one that changes cave entrances, holes to the outside, windows in buildings etc based on time of day? If so that is WAY frickin' cool. I guess the two mods just work together?
First, thanks because i think your modification is the better i have try. It's amazing to see the changes between day and night. It's perfect! But i want tell you one ploblem i found: in my home of Windhelm i see blocks in the floor. I don't know if it's the shadows or not. But when i take off your files it doesn't happen. I will try to explain it with some captures...

PS: If my captures disturb the forum, tell me and i will post only the link.
@bogartzin -- Yup they should work just fine, personally I find Syd's settings a little bit too dark in the shadows which I why I use my own; but you should be able to use what ever settings you want.
When you install my mod just don't overwrite the ini and the patcher files.

@Ikarad - Bleak Falls (the area you mentioned) should be now be brighter. The issue is with Sydney666's realistic lighting ini -- it cuts off lights too soon. If you use my ini you should be good to go.
