similarly with both versions of the program. just a fraction of a second command prompt window opens and immediately closes. In the window as quickly visible inscription - about: "... can not be found" p.s. sorry for bad translater-mashine
There is lots of ways you can do this, I would suggest having a look in the CK. If you open the World tab and choose Cell and your worldspace you will see how big the worldspace is in cells.
Hello, I am trying to create landscape LOD and Objects lod to work together. With the Oscape wan't work for me (even i created square wordlaspace of 32 cells), but with this lodfilegen landscape lod is created fine, but there is no object lod in it (only some with "fulll lod" checked, but when you check this option on someobjects they are invisible from small distance).
P.s. Too many "but" here...
My question is: How to get working lod objects after creating land lod with lofFileGen?
Does this work when i only want to re-generate a couple of cells in Tamriel? I made a fortress but now i have to re-generate the Lod because vanilla Lod land is ruining the whole thing but i'm not keen on re-generating the entirety of Tamriel, only a small part of it.
If you wish to re-make the LODs, this is not the program you need, it will only make the .lod file that will tell the game how much of the LODs to show. I suggest using Oscape for your needs.
You can check that in the creation kit for example. In the cell window you can sort the cells in order and then you will see what is the lowers cell. Or you can use the height map editor in the CK, it will show you your whole worldspace (once you generated the review), and you can check the the cell coordinates there (hover over a cell with the mouse and the cell number will show under the image).
I have a 512 by 512 cell map I made with photoshop and tesannyne. It uses a default texture of dirt01.dds I believe which sould be in the correct folder as it shows up when I load the map in Skyrim. The map won't open in the creation kit so its no real big deal. I mean I wish it would but I have a feeling its just running out of memory loading up something that big. Anyway my prob is when I create the lod file it makes a file that's only 1kb big so I assume it can't see something. The map is in a file called hiliana.esp and the map is called hiliana and that's where I think the problem lies. Its not from oscope or such. Should I be using oscope first to generate a file??
@darkgalaxy111 The programs window should stay open until the you have typed in the last value, then it will make the .lod file and the program window will close. Could you describe you problem more specificaly, when does the program exit, and what sysem are you runing on. On another note, new versions of Oscape will generate this .lod file for you together with the rest of the files needed for lods.

I have enough problems getting the 64-bit java to function.
