    Yes, this mod is dead. No, I will probably not work on it again.
    EDIT : I sorta changed my mind on the above.

    Someone recently PM'd me that this doesn't work with the new versions and I'm sorry to see that. If I were to work on this mod again I would probably completely redo it, and I don't currently have the time to do that. The person who PM'd me was wondering about permissions. Any and everyone has full permissions to do as they please with the files provided here. If anyone actually wants to do something with this, you are more than welcome to and if you have any questions you can PM me about it.

    A redo for SE might be in the works for this mod, I realize many people enjoyed this and there isn't another mod that I know of that covers poisons as this one does. If I get around to finishing it, I'll post a link here for any SE users to check out.

    The only bad thing about this mod, is that the Jarrin Root breaks the game balance. You can use it to make 3000 damage poisons, and the Jarrin Root only costs 30 gold each. Plus, I have Ordinator installed, so there's a perk that lets the poison stay applied for up to 10 hits. That's 30,000 damage. Sure, I can ignore it, but it bothers me that it's even an option. Feels like a cheat.

      Hello.
      I want to share a possible solution for shop keeper disappearing problem and hopefully it will fix other described in comments.
      It worked for me, but it may not work for You. I'm playing Skyrim 1.9.32 without DLC.

      Solution
      I opened TactlessToxins.esp with moding tool TESVEdit.
      1. Clicked with right button on Skyrim.esm
      2. Aply filter for cleaning (wait while it's done).
      3. Clicked with right button on mod TactlessToxins.esp
      4. Undelete and disable references. (Undeleted Records: 5)
      5. Save (TactlessToxins.esp). Exit.
      6. Place mod as low as possible in your load order.

      This mod is very outdated and it's using scripts so it's always a risk that something may happen.
      So far I didn't test all poisons which this mod offers. But picked some of them and they worked.
      But it needs more testing.

      Update: Fix worked on new game, but when I activated mod on my main walkthrough shop keeper never appeared.

    I'm so disappointed that this mod is dead! It was an essential part of my modlist, but now I'm sorely tempted to take it out since the only way I can get the items is to use Console Commands. >_<

    Does anyone know of a way I can update this to the most recent patch on my own, for my own use?

    EDIT: I managed to edit the levelled lists somewhat in the CK, now the potions/poisons occasionally show up in a vendor's supply. Too fed up to mess with it more though, so if anyone else wants to go ahead and try to get it working as it did before...

    I tried everything I could to get the added potions/poisons to be added to loot lists. I was, to say the least, extremely unsuccessful.

    I wish there was a poison that would delay dealing damage; e.g. you reverse pickpocket the poison into the victim, and it doesn't alert the victim until later.

    I love this mod! Great work and thanks for so many original and game-enhancing options! I was curious if you'd be interested in making a "Living Death" poison--something that would kill someone (stop their heart) but scripted so they revive in thirty seconds or something. From a role-playing standpoint I could see this being a load of fun. You could complete mission objectives but psyche out your quest-giver because, hey, the NPC's still alive and kickin'! "You wanted me to kill who, Night Mother? Joke's on you, you heartless witch! He yet draws breath! Mwa ha ha! Sucker!"

    Hey if anyone's getting disappearing Magickius and the fix 3 posts down doesn't work (it didn't for me), try this: go inside his shop and open the console ( ` ). Then type the following, without the quotes: "player.placeatme 6f0038e7 1" This should spawn the fellow and now you can buy his stuff. I hope this helps someone. Sorry if this was old news. Also, this was my first post so yaaaay!

    how could i not have found this mod earlier? its awesome.

    Does anyone know where to find the journal with hints for the location of the stones discribed in the readme? couldnt even find it in the console

    so sad about this disappearing glitch >.< i love this mod for my ranger but i can't buy the books

    Edit: hey guys i fixed this and it's pretty simple - go to your skyrim root folder and find Skyrim_default.ini, then find the value sResourceArchiveList2, add Update.bsa Dawnguard.bsa HearthFires.bsa and Dragonborn.bsa to the list eg. sResourceArchiveList2=Update.bsa, Dawnguard.bsa, HearthFires.bsa, Dragonborn.bsa

    Well, I have the latest skyrim as of 1/20/2013, 2:56am and the mod is working fine for me. I did extract from the bsa to look at the files, and saved it in the ckit. I do not know if that matters. But working fine.
