They do? Very stupid of them now vampires will think twice before curing their vampirizm cause dawnguard will hunt them anyway, they have higher chance of surviving with the curse of immortality! Good mod, will endorse.

Can you make a version that stops random dawnguard attacks altogether? It gets really annoying after the main quest ends and I'm well into other quests, but I can't fast travel because 3 weak npcs decide my time should be devoted to killing them lol.

Maybe set to trigger after Harkon dies or after the killing dawnguard leaders quest is completed.

I'm not super familiar with quest-related modding yet, but I've uploaded a version that instead makes sure Kindred Judgment (the last Dawnguard quest) is finished before sacking vampire hunters on you. Don't currently have a save with Dawnguard either in progress or completed so I can't currently test, so please let me know if it works for you!

So dawnguard won't hunt once the quest ends?  I can live with that. I will test it as soon as I can. I've tried tons of fixes for the endless hunts and so very often the fixes fail lol.

That's what it should do. As soon as the expansion questline is over, the Dawnguard hunts should stop. I'm still relatively new to modding but from what little I currently know it should work as intended.

Basically I put in a condition in the random attack event to check for completion of the quest 'Kindred Judgment' (Harkon being dead, DLC quest being over); if the quest hasn't been finished yet, the Dawnguard attacks will happen.

Hi. Been playing a while and finally had a chance to beat the main vampire quest. Dawnguard attacks still seem to be occurring occasionally. I can't tell if it is less, since it took a long time for it to happen, but it does still happen. Just thought you should know.

Got it, thanks for letting me know. I'll look into it and see if I can't hide the quest-flagged version in the mean time.

this is great thank you! i only wish there was a mod to help w my current problem. someone told me early on that i could change sides readily between dg factions...but they neglected to stipulate as long as i didn't accept the "gift" early on. i had always intended to start on dg side and change to vamp, but after accepting the gift it seems i can never do dg side in this playthru. anyone know of a mod to change that?

Might not be what you're asking for, but Dawnguard & Volkihar Epilogues makes it so you don't miss out on any of either side's unique items. If you want something that lets you actively change sides, I'm honestly not sure since that would involve being able to change the branching questline on the fly.
