I'm offering this backport as is. I have played it through to the 'happy' conclusion so I know as far as that goes it's all in working order, but I haven't explored all the possible endings. Not being the author of the mod, I'm not in a position to answer technical queries beyond basic questions from modding beginners. I'll reiterate here that FableForge is working on the next chapter of Umbra, so please don't ask technical queries about the mod on the SE page. For answers to gameplay queries see the articles on the SE page, which include a walkthrough and troubleshooting guide. godsp33d6 had a problem with Daumbra being invisible. See the long comment thread below (15 May 2021) for how he solved it. Another reason you might get an invisible Daumbra is if your bashed patch or some other mod is overriding the Umbra mod. Remake your bashed patch if that's the case or adjust your load order.
I haven't been around on Nexus and haven't set foot in Skyrim for a while now. My apologies for neglecting this thread, but Skyrim is approaching teenage now, it can look after itself. My two-year-old on the other hand... I'm aware of Part 3 being out on SSE. If anybody else wants to take up the baton and port it, I have no objections, nor is it my place to object. I won't be undertaking the task myself though, I'm afraid.
I have a problem, Spoilers!!!. when Daumbra stabs me and I enter her inner world, Clavicus's godflesh is missing, there is only the red aura that warbles around where his godflesh should be.
Update. I redid the story beat and got stabbed alot of times, on my 20ish try the godflesh spawned finally. Thank god
Oh why oh why must it require a LL mod? I don't have an account there, and would rather not make one due to the content that site hosts. I'm not even all that willing to access that site.
On a side note, I ran into this on ESO's channel, and thought it was some CC shit. I was mystified upon watching the video and seeing that it was actual quality (seriously). If it wasn't for the LL mod requirement, I would be willing to try this. That mod over on LL does look interesting (I was actually thinking of requesting such a mod just a few days ago funny enough), but as said I'm not willing to sign up to that shady website. Besides, I haven't had an email address in years, so I couldn't sign up to it, or any other website, either way.
edit: Oh, never mind. Found out that the 'requirements' tab links to a version over on Patreon which I can download. Guess I'll be giving this mod a try after all. Might want to clarify that the LL link ISN'T the only place to get this CVR mod.
i Am super late to this, With that said i have spent days trying to get this to work. Right now, Everything seem to finally work. Until i got to umbra, i wake her up. She teleports to me, and is now invisible. Everything else works with her, you just cant see her. IDk how to fix this. Feels like i tryed everything. Any help would be amzing. Really want to play this quest line. Amzing
Finished up the mod with no problems at all, worked perfectly for me. What an awesome mod it is too! Big thanks to DoctorShekel for this port, it's topped my list of favorite mods.
