Another update that adds a few more features I wanted to add:
>Equipping helmets will now great 3 abilities: Night Eye, Detect Dead, and Detect Life. These are not automatic; they must be activated as spells.
>Added a new version of the Mand'alor's Mask (Mandalore the Ultimate's golden mask) that is a little more lore-accurate.
>Added a gilded version of the main Mandalorian armor set.
>Fixed the "standard" Mandalorian helmet so that the meshes are double-sided, so they won't disappear when seen from below.
>Added a Beskar "buckler" for a proper light armor shield, and reduced the armor rating of the energy shield so it only blocks magic attacks.
>Added new recipes so that you can forge new Mandalorian armor and weapons from scratch, but only if you have advanced to "Daedric" smithing in the perk tree. This will let you forge the "ancient" version; you will still need to then reforge them to create the polished version.
>A number of various little tweaks to textures, meshes, dungeons, etc.
Please note that to add the helmet abilities, I had to alter the gauntlet script, so if you update to an existing game this script might not work properly.
>Altered recipe so Chrome items require Quicksilver.
>Fixed some mis-named items.
>Removed the shoulder plate on the Male Scout armor (bandolier version) that tends to clip through the pauldron.
>Made the existing Basilisk in the Ordo Covert hostile.
>Added a few lore books about Clan Ordo and the Dwemer technology.
I also added a VERY limited functionality to the jetpacks. Now, when a jetpack is equipped, it will add two spells (lesser powers, actually.) One is a single use exploding firebolt ("rocket-firing" feature.) The other is a "rocket boost" spell that will launch the player forward and upward. The script is a little wonky, but generally it will launch you forward and upwards if you are standing still, but if you are moving forward already it will launch you horizontally. It's a little weaksauce, but it's as close as I can get without digging into hardcore flying mods. Just remember, you will still take fall damage.
Another quick little update; I realized that the crafting recipe I had was for the ANCIENT Spiral Bolts, not the shiny new reforged ones, so I fixed that. I also renamed them to "Ancient Mandalorian Spiral Bolt" and "Mandalorian Spiral Bolt" for consistency.
A few more little updates I decided to work on while I had some time:
-Fixed the "ground item" for the Boba-style jetpacks so that they will have physics and can be dropped/picked up.
-Fixed the mesh for the Boba-style jetpacks so you will no longer have the weird triangle that moves with your leg.
-Added a few sets of "elite" Mandalorian armors. These are classic, "screen-accurate" versions of Boba and Jango armors, with a few color variations. These can only be crafted at the Skyforge, and require both the Beskar perk and the "Dragon Armor" perk (the idea being that they can only be crafted by a master armorer.) Boba's armor is considered light armor, and Jango's is heavy. Both are "full" armors, meaning they will take up the cuirass, boot, and gauntlet slots. As such they have the weight and stats to reflect the combined pieces. Because of their advanced status, they are the best Mandalorian sets you can get. There is one caveaut: the meshes that I used are from an old Steam mod, and are not terribly great. I was able to clean up the textures best I could and make them look pretty nice, but there are some janky bits that you'll have to ignore for now. I also added an elite version of Jango's helmet that is clean and shiny.
-I looked at adding a follower wearing Boba's modern armor, simply named "F'ett." However, after toying with some ideas about whether he should be a generic follower or a hireling, I realized that I wasn't happy just throwing him in there generically without any real explanation, so I removed him for now. I'd rather give him some sort of lore-friendly backstory. HOWEVER, if you want him, simply open the console and type "help ett" and he will come up, then type "player.placeatme 00XXXXX (whatever his id is) and he will spawn. He already has a high disposition so he will join you right off the bat. I will come up with something cooler later, but for now he IS in there; you just have to add him with the console. For the record, he has a vibro-knife, crossbow, and the flamethrower ability, and during testing I watched him shoot somebody, then blast them in the face with the flamethrower, then execute them with a knife, so . . . yeah that was pretty cool.
*UPDATE 3.21*
Quick fix, one of the Jango armors was pointing to the wrong color Nif. Fixed it now.
I’ve been working on some major additions and modifications:
-Added a full suite of Stalhrim-based mandalorian armors (as well as an additional Covert in Solstheim.)
-Added a full suite of “Clone” armors; including Trooper, Commando, and Jedi armors (as well as an additional Covert in the mountains above Solitude.)
-Added a glowing katana weapon for the Jedi (totally not a lightsaber.)
-Added a new “Bowcaster” crossbow that shoots magnetized bolts.
-Added a few “Sith” trooper armors (just gleaming chrome versions of the Mandalorian Plate Armors.)
-Added a new “enhanced” full-body high-tech armor set with a full array of paint colors.
-Added an armor set, pistol, and follower based on Kyle Katarn from the “Dark Forces” series.
-Added an armor set, pistol, and follower based on Dash Rendar from “Shadows of the Empire” media project.
-Added Boba Fett as a follower.
-Added a perk to the jetpacks so that while equipped, you will not receive fall damage.
-I think I fixed the one-handed crossbow crash issue (I think I had it looping a crossbow sound that isn’t supposed to loop.)
-Reverted the Mandalorian Light Bow back into a modern compound bow (but a slightly different one than before.) I love the idea of it being a super lightweight bow that uses mechanics, not size, to be powerful. The other model was just too beefy and high tech. I also like how well it juxtaposes the Heavy Bow, which is literally just a thick slab of Beskar with a string on it. I also added the vanilla “Zephyr” effects so it will fire rapidly.
-Tweaked the summons (Mythosaur & Basilisk) to only last for a few minutes instead of veritable months.
-Modified the Basilisk War Droids to be more dragon-like. This lets them behave more dynamically and actually be a useful summons. I added an actual head (so that you have somewhere to sit) and some glowing repulsor effects to the wings so they look more believable when they fly. Makes them look a little less like the original Basilisk design, but it works better with their behavior. They are no longer usable as a proper mount (crawling along the ground was pretty useless anyway) but instead can be tamed and ridden like any dragon using the Bend Will shout. I may look into implementing a proper flying mount system in the future.
-Added a means to “rebuild” the covert overlooking Windhelm. There is a book that can be found in one of the other Coverts (it may also randomly spawn with Mandalorian items) called “Secrets of the Forge.” After reading it, you will be able to rekindle the forge in the Windhelm Covert using a ton of ingredients listed in the book. Once the forge is burning, you must give it time to burn down (leave the interior cell) and then the Covert will be revamped as a usable player home. Please note that this will completely reset the original cell, so make sure you loot everything you possibly can before lighting the forge.
-Added a “Custom Armor” option. I’ve gotten a few requests for a custom color scheme and decided to create custom options for people to color the armor themselves. This would show up in game as a custom paint option at the forge. To customize, you simply need to change the texture files. I’ve provided the original photoshop files with all the different layer information, so all you have to do is tweak the colors, save, and the in-game version will change. Easy as that!
I do have dawnguard installed. Tried through vortex mod manager as well. Same result. Shows me the Bethesda logo, then right before it gets to the main menu it just sends me to my desktop. No idea what to do.
Yeah, I believe I added it in with the latest update (I added a Stalhrim set and a covert on Solstheim.) I must have forgotten to add it to the requirements. Sorry about that!
Hi there, LOVE this mod. Playing as an assassin/bounty hunter/monster slayer character and this is an amazing fit. You did an amazing job trying to build Mandalorians into Skyrim lore rather than just tossing them in, its so much more immersive that way.
By any chance, is there anyyyy possibility for a purple-colored version?
Hi, I love the mod ! Just a quick question I found the Mythosaur (kept it alive) and found the eggs, but I don't how to summon/ride it/make it a follower. Help ? Also, I can't upgrade parts of "the Mand'alor" set
You're not able to "tame" the living Mythosaur. The eggs act as a summoning scroll; but if you take one to the forge you can "upgrade" it to a mythosaur saddle (which is also technically a summoning scroll) and that will summon a rideable mythosaur.
Scout armor and some of the weapons like bow and Gaderffii appear invisible in the game, is it conflicting with a mod like Immersive Weapons or some Creation Club stuff?
Ha! Yeah, in retrospect there are a few things that probably don't make sense to be exclusive to the Skyforge, but it seemed more important to keep it all together. I guess the buckles are Beskar? :-P
Not sure if they’re already in there yet but are there any plans to add (Neo) Crusader style armours from the Tales of the Jedi or Knights of the Old Republic periods?

Just in time for Book of Boba Fett, I have made a number of upgrades and additions!
>Barbarian/Gladiator-style armors, available in all paint schemes.
>Additional paint schemes for all armors, including Boba's darker re-armored color scheme and a ridiculous shiny chrome scheme.
>Tweaked the Armorer's Hammer & Tongs to look a little more screen accurate.
>Unique armor variation and weapon for "The Maul."
>Removed the crest and neck elements from the plate helmet to make it look much more Mandalorian.
>Cleaned up Mythosaur Bone Armor & Weapons to make bone color more consistent and to bring out Beskar elements.
>Added Predator-style dreads to the "Taung" mask, as it looks too silly without them.
>New bow styles, both light and heavy.
>Gaffi Sticks!
>Clan Ordo covert, resting place of the legendary Mandalore the Preserver (found high on the cliff above Darkshade Cavern.)
>The armor of Canderous Ordo.
>Basilisk War Droids, boss battle and follower/mount, complete with multiple paint schemes.
>A number of other little tweaks that I can't quite remember.
I haven't had a chance to thoroughly test all of this, so please let me know if you find any issues.
This is the way.

where's my fix of updates ? WHERE IT IS ???
I hope this mod will still be supported, it's just like, almost perfect.
I'm about to create fake accounts to endorse it more than once. Nah. Joking. (But what if ?)
Good work, thank you for all these hours of funs
edit: well that was fast
Also, I can't upgrade parts of "the Mand'alor" set
nvm: My memory kicked in about Be'skar items and Skyforge.
Mandalorian.bsa - Is loaded by Mandolrian. esp, but is intended for use in Oblivion.
Is there a fix for this? Please message me.
