.. does anyone know if there is a requirement to make daedric weapons? I have the perk needed (in ordinator), and I have daedra hearts, but the option doesn't show up in the anvil/smithing menu.
not a bug never was one you just don't understand how modding works, I don't blame you all those compatibility patches (a lie they don't exist) weather mods (a lie they don't exist) lighting mods (a lie they don't exist) can only confuse players as how the game really works - weather and some (not all) lighting mods are both "image post processing" "screen filters" aka enb aka reshade and thus totally incompatible with enbs and reshade you're breaking each of them by using more than one thing, even if author makes a specific enb you're still not getting the original "weather mod" look but a new one - compatibilty patches don't really exist, they aren't a patch and don't make two mods compatible, they are a MERGE of at least a part of two mods with sometimes a loss of feature (you have to choose what you keep and lose) - race changes are highly incompatible as you'r adding changes to every npc in the game, often erasing new gear or spells they might have had from another mod at the same time - no1 rule of elder scroll, fallout 3d modding : you can only change one thing once in this case for example a "melee bandit item list" there are some advanced mods like diverse dragon collections 3 able to detect your installed dragons and rebuild a new list but it's very rare ,it's the only I've seen that manages to do it without very unstable crashy scripts
reforge absolutely has leveled list but you probably need to make your own "patch" if you have lots of other mods, because it's an esm and loaded on top it is "erased" by every weapon or npc mods for example in my game all those mods "remove" the RFM weapons from npc gear : legendary crossbows, high level enemies, heavy legion, wrye bash bashed patch if you use other weapons mods like heavy armoury, immersive weapons etc..you probably will never see RFM weapons
how to fix : download tes5edit load all your active mods, expand rfm.esm -> right-click on leveled item -> deep copy as override into -> yes -> scroll down and select new file -> give it a name like "my weapon patch-> then check every line that's pink or red and drag and drop weapon "blocks" (leveled list entry line) to your patch on the right this is how you make your own compatibility patch (that aren't one) it works 100% at worst you might have npcs spawning with 2-3 weapons in inventory but the ai will equip whatever best it has so it doesn't matter, you should also do that for creature mods same thing buit with leveled NPC lines, it's a LOT of work but I litterally have a thousands of npc variations in my game now, 50+ werewolf types 300 dragons 30 mudcrabs 20 elks hundreds of different draugr, skeletons, bandits, vampires welcome to real modding the other side of the mirror where you see 9/10 mods are incompatible and break stuff, download and play is a giant lie
Did not run into any problems, the only 'weird' thing i noticed is weapons do not need material for upgrades. It adds a lot of variety, i think this mod is great, thanks. I liked the imperial 'officer' sword or something like that i think it looks great, seems hard to find though. About the leveled lists, i encountered weapons in chests and people, you need to use mator smash or something to merge the leveled lists if you have other mods.
several smithing mods remove sharpening cost for melee weapons, requiring a steel ingot to sharpen a sword makes no sense you remove material you don't add any, some still keep a material cost for ranged and armors as in that case it makes sense
Been trying to get this working for a few hours now, which is insane because I've installed hundreds of mods, I've even installed THIS mod on another computer with no issue. Alas, I install the mod manually or with a mod manager and when I go to launch the game, just nothing happens at all. As soon as I disable or delete the mod, everything works correct again. No clue what is causing this, but it does say in my plugins that the mod isnt made for my Skyrim SE, and I fail to locate this "Archive" mentioned in the description for an SE supported version. No idea where to go from here, anyone have any advice?
are you tryinbg to use this on SE ? highly doubt you can, other than very basic mods like retextures model changes it usually doesn't work not even all retextures work, landscape mountains for example are different between SE and LE, this mod has quest linked crafting what I would consider advanced features, very unlikely it works on SE as is try to find an SE version
I am using vortex and cannot get my game to launch with this mod active. i know this one is the problem because when i disable, game launches no prob. i love this mod and used it on xbox before it fried. i have SE. Any idea why mygame refuses to launch? not only this mod but any mod that expands weapon or armor. What Can I Do to fix this?
First, forgive my bad english :) Secondly, Registrant has a The Witcher weapons mod with over 500 weapons, I tried to translate but I'm very inexperienced at this, have you thought about translating it too? Thanks in advance :)

Not even in vedors.
Can the mod author, or anybody that knows how to fix this please help?
- weather and some (not all) lighting mods are both "image post processing" "screen filters" aka enb aka reshade and thus totally incompatible with enbs and reshade you're breaking each of them by using more than one thing, even if author makes a specific enb you're still not getting the original "weather mod" look but a new one

this is how you make your own compatibility patch (that aren't one) it works 100% at worst you might have npcs spawning with 2-3 weapons in inventory but the ai will equip whatever best it has so it doesn't matter, you should also do that for creature mods same thing buit with leveled NPC lines, it's a LOT of work but I litterally have a thousands of npc variations in my game now, 50+ werewolf types 300 dragons 30 mudcrabs 20 elks hundreds of different draugr, skeletons, bandits, vampires
