Could you make an optional ESP that does replace the original heavy with a light version? I'm using a custom body with special armor meshes, so a mod that adds a new armor, even if it is identical to the original, will revert to vanilla meshes.
It doesn't feel like a light version of the Blades armour as its just the normal armour with new stats. It would be far more creative if you managed to make some new models for light armour that actually feels like light armour. Maybe you can get inspiration from armour worn by the Ashigaru, common japanese foot soldiers of the Sengoku Jindai period. http://img404.imageshack.us/img404/1959/ashigaruarqueros1400x90.jpg http://www.dragonmodelsusa.com/dmlusa/propics/DIR_ZVE/l/l_ZVE6402.jpg
Is it possible that the CTDs are caused by usng different textures? The original coloured version seems to use the texture of the vanilla Blades Armour.
Hi, excellent mod and armor, but because you have placed it under the "misc" section it cannot benefit from any of the smithing perks. So yes it has the same stats as glass armor, but I can improve glass armor twice as much at a work bench.
I'm fairly sure would be easy to sort out in the creation engine, I'm going to have a go at making it appear under "steel" for my personal use, but you may want to do this in a future update so other people can benefit.
Edit; Success! Just add the tag "ArmorMaterialSteel" (or whatever material you like) to the pieces in the creation engine, they can now be fully smithed and appear under the steel material menu at the forge.
I downloaded the armor on the day it appeared and have used it ever since. However I also have to avoid the red curiass since it causes an IMMEDIATE CTD as soon as it is equipped. Please try to fix this since this my favorite suit so far. Thanks!

BTW I have the same CTD as everybody when I try to wear the red cuirass
why?
Can I also suggest an option to only allow Blades Armour to be crafted if you've reached Sky Haven Temple.
