Would also be nicer if this just affected the transparencies, not the meshes, so it would mesh well with other mods that introduce glass weapons and armor. This may be impractical, I guess.
Nice mod. The armors *do* have a nice look, but... "realistic"? :-P Vulcanic glass and Malachite are not transparent. This isn't supposed to be actual glass; that would break and be useless for armor.

I've been using this for a while and it's always given glass armor its own unique characteristic, which is really nice for a relatively rare set of armor in-game.
It took me a while, but I've figured out how to use the alpha channels from your textures for other glass retextures, so thanks a bunch mate
anykeyaz http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Lore:Malachite well glass is malachite that is translucent, metallic elven parts are made of moonstone so most of the armor is still made of metal. Like ebony, both materials are variations of common Vvardenfell's volcanic obsidian that was used by american indians technologically at the level of the Stone Age. The absense of body mesh inside the armor is REAL problem, not disputes about the level of milky nontransparency the glass itself has. CBBE size _1 doesn't fit inside of course, I've tried that already
When people think of Glass armor they really think GLASS; Not malachite; what it's made out of. In the game malachite is not transparent or translucent. Nice work, though
