I'm trying to get this mod to work with T3nd0's Perkus Maximus (http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/59849/?). I have not had any luck so far. I've tried the below method from sushisquid to try to make my own esp, but that doesn't work either. Has anyone had any luck?
I have not either. I've placed it in every part of my load order but nothing helps. I don't know enough about modding to make it work. Would it be possible to just make a new spell instead of altering the vanilla flames spell? Wouldn't that negate a conflict as well?
For those who are wondering "How does this work?", the game has "form lists" of items it checks, in this case, there's a form list for "weapons" that are appropriate for mining. Using the Creation Kit, you can pretty much add any equippable/wearable item to that list, the game only checks to see if you have an allowed item equipped or worn. I made a personal mod that puts the Bound Battleaxe on the lists for mining and woodchopping, with only the "mystic" version on the "stahlrim" list so I actually have to do a teeeeeeny bit more effort than it takes to get the free "Ancient Nord Pickaxe" from Crescius in Raven Rock. But, you could just as easily use the creation kit to make a special pair of "mining gauntlets" and just PUNCH the ore out of the rock!
would it be possible to make this mod compatiable with some of the infinite mining mods or do it yourself have been tryig to figure out how to do it havent been able to yet
ores are an unpurified mix of metal and rock. i don't see how you can melt rock to make an ore. you should be able to melt the metal to receive ingots directly. idk how you would be able to mold the shape though, since all the metal will be dripping down the walls.
