      Okay, that's weird I can't figure rn why it's happening, but u can try to quicksave, that's binded default on F5 and for load press F9.
      But u can try the command - save ´´name´´, then it will make save with custom name.

   Tried this on a character that I lost when rebuilding my computer and didn't want to level up all over again. Works as intended!
   
   Just a heads up. 
   
   Your read me says the following:
   
   

   1.Paste max_stats.txt to the game folder
   2.Run game
   3.Open console and type bat mas_stats
   4.Done

   
   Says "Mas" instead of Max!

      I'm glad that my thing was useful in other than just a cheating way, but for restore lost character.
      
      I made a stupid typo, I will fix it immediately.
