This mod is so fine I use it whenever I will get new shout so I don't have to visit High Hrothgar up and down just teleport then I am able to gather shout so fast I appreciate this!
I've got an anchor at my Old Home. I want a New Anchor at my New Home. I cast the portal from the Wilds, which takes me to my Old Home. I then make my way on foot to my New Home, and cast the portal again.
Do I wind up at Wilds, or Old Home? If I step out at Wilds, will another cast now take me to New Home?
I'm confused. Which is pretty much SOP most of the time.
If it helps, you can think of it like you're in charge of 2 characters. Your "Home character" and your "Explorer character". Whenever you use the portal, you're swapping between these 2 characters and the one you're not currently controlling just stands still doing nothing.
Functions exactly as described, and looks hella cool to boot. The only issue I have run across is I can't seem to change my anchor point. It's entirely possibly I'm missing something; that happens a lot.
Otherwise, for a GoHome spell, this is hard to beat. Thank you!
This is the coolest mod I've seen yet. I was curious if you could make a file set up that is only bsa, and esm with a physical location to get the tomes or a crafting recipe (no installer or scripts). I play skyrim on a modded ps3 thats the only way I can get mods to work something about the way it reads files. I would donate for sure. Thank you for this mod. I've been playing skyrim since it came out and this would make it even better.
Very cool addition. I'll fast-travel, when needed. But, on my playthroughs I've been in the middle of bumf&^( nowhere and said to myself: "Self, you forgot your dang pickaxe again." Now, I can drop home, pick that puppy up, and get right back to the middle of...nowhere, again. Love it. Thank you!!
Yeah you're not alone on this request. I personally don't share the opinion that this cannot be a base mechanic (it is in most ARPGs) but i will look into making an alternate file that has it as a purchased tome instead.
"You have stepped in the portal", those words sprung to mind the moment I saw the thumbnail for the mod. Too the looks of things, it will even function the same (or similarly enough anyways) to the "Town warp" spell in FATE. I'll def be use this mod in my next playthrough! ^^

For your scenario:
Anchor: Old Home
You: Wilds
*Enters portal*
Anchor: Wilds
You: Old Home
*Moves to new home*
Anchor: Wilds (still)
You: New Home
*Enters portal*
Anchor: New Home
You: Wilds
So at this point, the next portal you make will take you to New Home.
Otherwise, for a GoHome spell, this is hard to beat. Thank you!
