I did some screens for comparison for my game, and it definitely better, thanks.
Just one question, for what are the two files inside the surwindhelmcustommeshes folder?

Glad you enjoy the mod :)
The meshes in custom folders are for Capital Windhelm Expansion and Snowy AF Windhelm respectively. The difference in file size is very minor so I just included them in the main files instead of making them separate compatibility patches.

This is not covered by the Unofficial Skyrim Legendary Edition Patch?

USLEEP covers the same meshes, but it doesn't include any visual enhancements. It just fixes a bunch of missing collision sounds.

Haven't even tested the mod yet I love you for it. Will you redesign the steps next? Windhelm's steps/"stairs" drives my OCD off the floor and there's nothing to do to it because the stair "cluster" is one giant mesh.

The street meshes around Hjerim are up next featuring individual floor tiles. Not sure if I'll do anything to the stairs though, I wouldn't really know what to change tbh.

^ Ya. The idea of the stairs being "halfly-falled/broken/misaligned" drives me nuts, and that's something you can't easily fix with some Jaxonz-Positioner-ing because its the stair/"floor" mesh that's 'broken'. Had the whole thing being made of a simple soil floor with stairs being individually placed there it would've been easy, but its not. The whole thing - the ground and the stairs - is one giant pile.

I get Beth's though/reasoning, being that Windhelm is the oldest human city in the world and this is the 4th Era so ofc the whole place would be in disarray compared to, say, Whiterun. But c'mon, we also have multiple ancient cities that are still up and running - my own city is ancient and the old parts/areas are not only there, they're well-built. C'mon Bethesda!

I only checked the docks area because I saw a conflict with Enhanced Textures Detail, from what I could tell at a glance these undo the mapping changes from that mod that makes the pavers/stones smaller.  FWIW I am going to keep the docks2 mesh from this mod because that area is so screwed up that it's worth the tradeoff.  Maybe you can get permission from that author and modify those meshes?  Regardless, thanks for the work, much appreciated.

EDIT: What textures are you using for the ground/stones? Maybe I could try those out instead of what I am using (need to double check that)

I did my own UV tweaks when editing the meshes but I decided to keep it more in line with the vanilla tiling as IMO more tiling does not necessarily make the textures look better. In the docks shots you can see Northfire's, in the others it's fluffy snow.

Thanks for the mod! Did you enable the height map shader type in order to facilitate parallax?
